4th of July Patriotic Pinwheel Wreath Project!

Happy Monday! Happy July! It's going to be a good week! There's a fun holiday involved! Yeah! I am very into Americana themed items – crafts, home decor, clothes, cards, stitching…. Well, you get the idea! Our home is very decorated for the 4th of July with lots of flags and good things. I am wishing you a good week and a fun holiday with family and friends! I recently made it a goal to read more….Summer is a great time for lazy afternoons reading!! I have been an avid reader since I was very small and lately life just got busy and I stopped reading and I miss it!! Anyone else have a giant stack of books waiting on the nightstand?? I recently updated my Amazon Summer 2024 reading list if you want to check it out!!

My project for today is a home decor piece made from paper!! And card making supplies!

My project is a Paper Pinwheel Wreath! Made from patriotic papers and 4th of July theme. It's made from lots and lots of pinwheels hot glued onto a wreath form. It was a very fun project and it came together quickly and easily. This would be a really good group project because it's the same thing made over and over again and it's easy to finish in an afternoon. Here is my wreath and where it's hanging in our home – on the cabinets between the kitchen and our nook. All my supplies are at the bottom of my post or CLICK HERE!

I photo'd it on this white door so you could see the size and scale against a plain background…

In my stash, I had these buttons from Michaels so I added a few of them!

I used the AMAZING 3D Pinwheel Dies to make this project. I made about 30 large and small pinwheels but it only ended up taking about 14 pinwheels to finish my wreath. I actually thought it would take a lot more!! I die cut all my pinwheels first – sooooo easy.

Here they are before assembly – small and large ones!

I folded them over and used colorful brads to finish/close them up! This could not be more fun or simple!

On my desk…. I used a wreath form (in the supplies) and acrylic paint. I painted the wreath form blue (I forgot to take a photo of that part!) and then I used hot glue to attach all the pinwheels to the wreath form. (I only burned myself once! Ha) I glued them right under the part with the brad.

You, again, could make this project with any theme! I am definitely going to make a Halloween one. I have so many cute Halloween papers! As I continue to try to use my stash!!

After the entire wreath was assembled I generously splattered on rich gold paint for a little bit of shimmer….

My trusty sidekick Lucky was right there on my desk when I finished my project…. So I snapped a quick photo of him inside my wreath! How fun is he??!!

Pretty Pink Posh – May 2024 New Release – Congrats Champagne Shaker Card!

Hello lovelies!! Happy almost Friday! Hope you had a great week! We've had sunny weather and I feel like Summer is in the air finally. The new release from Pretty Pink Posh continues this week with an Instagram Hop and I wanted to share my card with you here. The new release is full of everything perfect for early Summer celebrations… I shared my other PPP new release project last week – so please check out my patriotic cupcake card too!

My card for the Instagram Hop features the brand new Champagne Flute shaker dies and the brand new Bows dies (LOVE)…along with the new celebration shaker beads. I decided to make a classy wedding card and used silver, white and Tiffany Blue as my color palette. I love how this card came out. One of my friends' sons is getting married and I'm going to give her this card to use!! My finished card is an A2 white card base, layered with blue, white and vellum… The shaker champagne flutes are the star of the show!! Cheers!!

Here's a side view so you can see all my layers and pieces. Those new bows are *chef's kiss* for sure! Those dies are going to get used a lot!! The shakers were made separately and then glued onto the card. I used lots of layers and vellum for that wedding look.

I used silver cardstock for the flutes and then used white glitter cardstock for the inside of the flutes. I mixed together some clear diamond gems with the new silver/gold/white beads. It looks sooooo pretty in person!! I used foam sheets and acetate along with my precision glue to make the shakers. They just always come out perfectly with PPP dies.

I used gray and vellum cardstocks for the "congrats" sentiment across the bottom of the card.

This color blue always makes me think of weddings…. I put a big vellum heart behind the champagne flutes and added gems to look like bubbles!

My card for today features the brand new Big Celebration Cupcake Dies set – the latest in the Cupcake Collection!! I also used lots of other favorite PPP supplies and went with a 4th of July theme! The way this year is going, the 4th is going to be here fast!! My finished card is an A2 card base, covered in blue gingham and then an eyelet panel and an ink blended panel.

Here's a side view of my card so you can see all the parts, and layers! I love those little firecrackers! So fun!! I used the numbers from the Graduation set (supplies are at the bottom of my post) to make 1776 in red to accompany the 4th of July banner. I love the blue gingham combined with red, gold and white. Really festive!

I ink blended the top part of the panel using yellow oxide inks and then stamped on some fireworks for a nice background. I added lots of blue gems for sparkle! And there's glitter glue on the cupcake too! (I love sparkle!)

Those fireworks are SO fun! Easy to make and layer and pop into your cupcake. I love how PPP left slits in the cupcake top so you can tuck items into the frosting – such a great idea.

Lots of gold stars to finish off the accents for this card!!

Pretty Pink Posh – Spring Release 2024 – Ombre Butterflies Card!

Hello lovelies!! Are you having a good week!? Spring is springing and rolling along and it's just a couple of weeks until Easter! Hope you're doing great!! The new release from Pretty Pink Posh continues this week with an Instagram Hop and I wanted to share my card with you here. If you're on Instagram, make sure to stop by my post and leave a comment for a chance to win a PPP gift certificate! Woot! The new release is full of everything perfect for Spring! And we're all ready for it, aren't we!? I shared my other PPP new release projects last week – so please check out those cards too! (Easter cards)

My card for the Instagram Hop features the brand new Stitched Butterflies Dies and the brand new Eyelet Circles Dies! I used the previously released Beautiful Butterflies stamp set for the perfect sentiment! My finished card is a 5" x 5" square card using a white card base. I layered teal and then more white… Because I really wanted the butterflies to pop off the page!

Here's a side view of my layers and gold embossing on the sentiment…

To make the butterflies, I die cut them out of white cardstock. I used pretty, vivid shades of teal, yellow and coral to make an ombre effect with inks and blender brushes. After the inking dried, I splattered on gold paint! The butterfly centers are gold cardstock.

I attached the butterflies to the card using thin strips of foam tape only in the centers! This way, I could gently lift up the wings of the butterflies with my fingers to make it look like they're flying off the card!! I used three colors of ink on each butterfly and left just a bit of white at the bottom of each one – for a true color filled ombre! (All the supplies and ink colors are listed at the bottom of my post today!)

I heat embossed the sentiment using gold embossing on a pretty eyelet circle. I added a few gems and jewels in colors to match the butterflies and add a bit (more) of shimmer!

My first card for today features the brand new Bunny Face Shaker Dies along with some of my previously released PPP Easter favorites! My finished card is a white A2 card base layered with pink plaid, an eyelet rectangle, some carrots and then that cute bunny! This card was super fun to put together. All the Easter things on one card! It makes me smile!

Here's a close up of that adorable bunny face!! I die cut the bunny pieces from white, pink, black, and grey cardstocks. I added shading using my Copic Markers and then added white gel pen accents to each piece.

Here's a side view of all my layers!!

I die cut the Hoppy Easter dies from Silver cardstock!! You can see I used the Carrot Stencils for the panel just underneath the bunny. I die cut eggs, a carrot and a sweet little bow for my bun bun. (All the supplies are listed at the bottom of my post). It's sooooooo Spring with all those pretty colors!

I used the Eyelet Rectangle dies for my bottom layer and then cut my carrot stenciled panel to fit just inside the eyelet rectangle stitched portion. I used a vellum circle behind the bunny to 'ground' it onto the card.

My next card for today features the brand new Big Easter Cupcake dies, the brand new Trellis Stencil, and the new Sentiment Strips Easter stamps! My finished card is an A2 white card base layered with small polka dot paper. I also layered a stenciled panel and some vellum – then that cute chickie cupcake!

Here's a side view of my layers and elements…

I stenciled the Trellis using spring colors and then die cut out my stenciled panel using the Wonky Rectangles Dies. I also die cut a wonky rectangle from vellum.

To make the chick I used bright yellow cardstock and then inked the pieces using Copic Markers…. I die cut a few flowers to add interest to the front of the cupcake.

Pretty Pink Posh – New Release – Big Birthday Cupcake!

Hey guys! Me again! Today was a big Instagram Hop too! In addition to Valentine's Day, I have a big fat cupcake birthday card to share with you! The new release from Pretty Pink Posh continues this week with an Insta Hop and I wanted to share my card with you here. If you're on Instagram, make sure to stop by my post and leave a comment for a chance to win a gift certificate! Woot! This new release is all about birthdays and celebrations. I feel like you can never have enough ideas for birthday cards, right? Let's get to it!

My card features the brand new Big Birthday Cupcake Die Set along with the brand new Pierced Stars background die and the brand new Party Balloons Dies! That's a whole lotta new right there!! PPP has a way of making us the PERFECT basics – like balloons and hearts, and even shamrocks. I use them over and over… My finished card is an A2 white card base layered with a pretty blue, a white layer and then an ink blended layer. This is a new color combo – and I kinda like it! Soft blue, and pink with a pop of red and chocolate brown! Let's party!

Here's a side view of my layers! I used pretty gingham (of course) for my cupcake bottom. I used kraft cardstock for the cake part. I decorated with this and that, stars and hearts….

I love that gooey chocolate fudge layer!! I added glitter glue to it too! That little banner is soooo perfect!

I die cut the star balloon from red paper and then lined it behind with some vellum…. So pretty and festive!

I covered up most of it, but there is a gorgeous star background die there! Ha. I ink blended with Flamingo Oxide Ink – so delicious! I also splattered on silver paint.

I wanted a stripey hat so I die cut the hat from both red and gingham and then fussy cut out the stripes. SO cute – with a big red dot on top.

Okay friends! There is a lot going on around here and I'm trying to keep it all straight! Ha! I may have said "YES" to everything this month! And there's more coming. Wishing you a happy day. See you soon! Be sure to create something today!

Pretty Pink Posh – 10th Birthday Celebration Blog Hop! Birthday Treat Boxes!

Our friends at Pretty Pink Posh are having a 10 Year Anniversary/Birthday this month! Ten years of crafty goodness! Huge congratulations to my friend Paulina on achieving this milestone! I'm so happy for PPP, and looking forward to many more years of creativity and fun together! I am excited to be part of a giant multi day blog hop to celebrate the February new release – stamps, dies, stencils, and more! All with a fantastic party theme. My project today features the brand new Birthday Treat Box Dies, the brand new Birthday Cupcakes stamps and dies, and the brand new Party Balloons Dies! I made party favor boxes perfect for any birthday party!! I think if I was having a party, the best part would be the treats! LOL. I used vivid, bright, party colors of red, yellow and aqua and just had fun creating!

I made my treat boxes – the die is SO EASY!! and then decorated with balloons, and cupcakes and all the good things!! The stamped images are from the new Birthday Cupcakes stamp set. I stamped in black ink and die cut them out using the matching dies. I colored everything with my Copic Markers and then added glitter accents and white gel pen accents too. My project looks cohesive because I used a very simple color palette, and used the same palette on all the different elements.

To the front of each treat box I added a white scalloped circle and then the cupcakes. I finished off with festive twine and little hearts! I splashed on silvery white paint too – just a bit of shimmer!!

I wanted some height to my project, so I die cut out some awesome balloons and splashed them with paint. I made the balloon string from two layers of silver cardstock (to make it stronger) and then glued that to the back of my boxes. It turned out so fun!!

The treat box dies have this pretty scalloped edge!!! To make the back part gingham, I die cut a second layer and glued the gingham paper into just the back panel. It's a nice touch and a nice way to use some patterned paper!!

I took a lot of photos because there are lots of details!! I put crinkle paper inside the boxes and a gift card and some candies would be perfect inside!! The white scalloped circle and also the cupcakes are attached with foam squares and the twine is tucked behind the layers.

The fun thing about these is that they work for any occasion! And you can make them in any color to match your party!!

Pretty Pink Posh – New Release – Christmas Stockings!

Hi crafty friends! How are you today? Hope you're doing great and getting crafty! Today I'm sharing another project I made with the brand new Pretty Pink Posh Holiday Release! I adore this new release so much! I shared two cards last week for the big blog hop, both Christmas cards. Well, today I used the new products with some other PPP items to make a cute stocking card! My card features the brand new Build A Stocking Dies, the new Holiday Mug Additions, and the new Eyelet Rectangles! My finished card is an A2 white card base, layered with an eyelet rectangle and then those adorable stockings!!

Here's a side view of my card to show you my layers and elements…. I love those little peppermint candies! And the details on the stockings are just perfection…

I ink blended just the top of my rectangle using ink and a blender brush. I generously splashed on silver metallic paint splatters. It's so shimmery and pretty in person…

That little tag is so sweet! I added a bit of twine and a heart….

I die cut the stockings from colored cardstock and used Copic Markers to add a bit of shading. I used white glitter paper for the tops of the stockings. I used gems in the centers of the candies…

I'm all about the details…. A Bow, a snowflake, some little trees….everything Christmas!

Pretty Pink Posh – Holiday New Release 2023 – Christmas Cards!

Helllooooo and howdy and Happy Friday! I have MORE Christmas cards to share with you today! I am almost done making all my Christmas cards now! Ha! There were so many beautiful new releases this year and I'm so honored to be part of the fun to show them to you here on my blog. Today is yet another awesome Holiday release – this time from Pretty Pink Posh!! The new release is already available in the PPP store and it's SO GOOD! Perfectly cheerful and happy and warm. Today is day three of a big blog hop celebrating the new October/Holiday release from our friends at Pretty Pink Posh. I hope my cards today get you in the mood to so some holiday crafting! I have two cards today, and then I'll share another card next week when we do the Instagram Hop.

My first card for today features the brand new Holiday Birds dies, the brand new Pierced Snowflakes Die and the new Sentiment Strips Christmas Stamp Set! I also used the gorgeous Decorative Birdhouses dies and some other favorite PPP items. All my exact supplies are listed at the bottom of my post!! My finished card is an A2 white card base. The blue layer mimics a pretty winter sky with snowflakes…then my focal images.

The new Holiday Birds are SOOO CUTE!!! There are three little birds (I made cardinals), a little hat, a scarf, and more! EEP. He's about to nest down for the winter in his cute house!!

I used plaid, black and green to make my birdhouse. I wanted it to be very Christmas-y!

For the opening of the birdhouse I used the little tree that comes in the new Stocking Shaker set. It was the perfect size! I added a little heart over the opening of their love nest. I added snowflakes too….

My second card today features the brand new Candy Cane Stencils Set, the new Merry Christmas Shadow dies, and the new Eyelet Rectangles Dies. I used a traditional color palette of red, white and silver, with just a little pop of green!! My finished card is an A2 white card base. Layered with red, kraft, vellum and white.

Here's a side view of my layers…. I used vellum with that beautiful new rectangle die and I love it!! The sentiment was die cut from silver glitter paper for some Christmas shimmer! The candy canes are from the Winter Mug Die Set. They are so fresh and pretty.

I added red enamel dots for the holly berries and two shades of green for the holly leaves.

In this photo, you can get a close up look of the new stencil set! LOOOOVE! (I always love a candy cane theme)…. I used kraft cardstock and stenciled with white pigment ink (Using a small sponge dauber). I dried the pigment ink with my heat tool. Then I used bright red ink and a dauber to go over the white. The key here is to really make sure that white ink is dry first before doing the red ink. It came out so nice.

Pretty Pink Posh New Release – Stack o’ Jacks! Jack O’ Lanterns Card!

Hi crafty friends! How are you today? Are you ready to start a new week again already? Dang, the time is going by fast this month!! Today I'm sharing another project I made with the brand new Pretty Pink Posh Fall Release! I adore this new release so much! I shared two cards last week for the big blog hop, that had a fall theme. Well, today I used the new products with some other PPP items, to make a Halloween Card!! I'm calling it a Stack o' Jacks! Today is the start of the big Instagram Hop to celebrate this new PPP Release! So be sure to head over to Instagram and leave a comment to be able to win a PPP gift certificate! As always with an Instagram Hop, I'm sharing my card here too. This card is full of bright colors and it makes me smile – just like those jack o' lanterns!

My finished card is a custom size: 4.5" x 6.5" and it's a white card base. I made a slightly larger card in this case to fit all the pumpkins in! I layered pretty black stripes paper, then my ink blended layer…. Those big fat smiling pumpkins are the stars of the card! I combined the Pumpkin Shaker Dies, the Stitched Pumpkins Dies, and the boo script for my sentiment!

For this pretty background, I cut a sheet of white cardstock to fit the layer. I used Fossilized Amber Distress Ink and a blender brush to ink blend just the top 2/3 of the panel. I used the Boo Stamp Set (the stars) and stamped stars over my ink blending using the same color. I feel like it looks like an Autumn sky!! And I love the stars!!

I die cut all the pumpkins from orange cardstock. I used a blender brush and two shades of orange distress inks to ink blend the bottom portion of each pumpkin. I also added some black paint splatters. I die cut the faces from black cardstock.

For the stem, I used woodgrain paper and for the leaves I used plaid patterned paper. I felt like that plaid just looked so perfect with the orange!

For my finishing touches, I added the word "boo" as my sentiment, and I sprinkled the card with Platinum Pearls…They are the perfect gray shimmer!!

Pretty Pink Posh – September 2023 New Release Blog Hop! Cozy Days and Autumn Greetings!

Warm Fall Greetings my friends! I am VERY happy today to share some warm and cozy Fall cards with you!! Happy Fall Y'all! I've been getting in the mood for sure, and these cards today will hopefully get you in the mood too!! Today is day two of a big blog hop celebrating the new September/Fall release from our friends at Pretty Pink Posh. Paulina has crushed the fall mood for us and I know you're going to love it all just as much as I do! I had the best time making cards with the new release, and I was smiling the entire time! I hope my cards today get you in the mood to switch seasons! I have two cards today, and then I'll share another card next week when we do the Instagram Hop. My first card today features the newest addition to the 'mug' collection! The Fall Mug Additions dies go along with all the other mug series dies, and I created a warm and cozy scene with a Pumpkin Spice Latte theme (of course!)…. I used a new stencil, and new sentiments too!! Everything is orange and brown and warm….. I love how this card came out! My finished card is an A2 cream cardstock card base, layered with pretty brown plaid. Then my top layer and design elements….

Here's a close up of my paper layers and a close up of that pretty new Deco Leaves stencil! I used Antique Linen Distress Ink and a blender brush to make the soft background. It's perfect!! The brown plaid screams FALL!

Here's a side view to show all the layers and elements… The mug was made with three stacks of woodgrain paper and the lightly shaded with Distress Ink. The pumpkins and leaves are from different sets (Supplies are listed at the bottom of my post)…. I kept my color palette to orange, cream and brown mostly, with a touch of gold…. Also, yes, that mug is wearing a scarf!!!! I am obsessed!!!! Doesn't this make you want a PSL right now??!!

Cozy days indeed! This die cut sentiment comes with the Fall mug additions set…. I made an orange and cream straw using the birthday candle from the birthday mug additions set!

All the pieces were die cut from colored cardstock and then shaded with Copic Markers… Then some white paint splatters and some Diamond Stickles glitter glue on certain pieces.

My second card for today features the brand new Acorn Shaker Die set, and the new Autumn Pumpkins Stamp set…And another gorgeous new stencil, Layered Woodland… My finished card for this one is a square 5.5" x 5.5 " because I really wanted to showcase all of the stencil!! I again kept with a warm Fall color palette with gold accents and also some vellum.

I die cut the acorn from dark woodgrain paper and a rust colored paper. I splashed gold paint on everything to look nice and shimmery…. The sentiment was gold embossed onto cream cardstock.

I used cream cardstock for my stencil portion. I think it's just warmer with the rich fall tones. I used lots of Distress Inks to make the elements…and white ink to make the spots on the mushrooms. LOVE!!!!

To finish off the stem of the acorn, I wrapped it with thin twine and added a button and a heart… I always love the little touches…

The leaf on the acorn is from one of my favorite PPP sets – Small Stitched Foliage! I wanted a pop of Olive on there….

Pretty Pink Posh New Release – Halloween Mug and Spooky Wishes!

Hi crafty friends! Won't you have a cuppa with me today? A very spooooooky cuppa!! Today I'm sharing another project I made with the brand new Pretty Pink Posh Halloween Release! I adore this new release so much! The PPP Halloween release is one of the highlights of my creative year! (CLICK HERE to see my other three cards made with the new items)! Today is the start of the big Instagram Hop to celebrate the new PPP Release! So be sure to head over to Instagram and leave a comment to be able to win a PPP gift certificate! As always with an Instagram Hop, I'm sharing my card here too. I have been waiting to share this one, because I love how it came out! I had a blast making it, combining so many fun elements…. Let's go!

My finished card is a white A2 card base, covered with cool black and white stripey paper. I layered an inked up wonky rectangle, and then my mug and add-ons. I am featuring the brand new Halloween Mug Additions….along with lots of the other mug dies. I can't wait every month to see the new add ons!! I used purple on this card – which I rarely use – but I love it! Especially contrasted with the orange and yellow…. My card has everything: pumpkin, candy corn, stars, spider and even a tombstone!

Here's a close up of ALLLLL the spooky things on my card!! I started by die cutting all of the elements from colored cardstock. Then I shaded/colored with Copic Markers on top of the cardstock pieces. I also added some splatters and also white gel pen accents. I added glitter glue to the whipped cream and the stars… It was really fun to put this all together.

I used the Graduation Mug Dies to make the "31" numbers. I shaded around the numbers with a gray Copic. For the Tombstone I added different gray shades to make it look like granite. The candy corns are from the Candy Treats Die set released last year.

The sentiment is from the Ghost Friends stamp set and matching dies….

The big mug is purple cardstock and I matched the purple to the shading and stenciling on the background layer.

To shade the background I used Wilted Violet Ink and a blender brush to ink only the top. Then I used the same color to add the stars with the Starry Background Stencil!!

I used the brand new Sentiment Strips Dies and Sentiment Strips Halloween stamp set to add this perfect sentiment to the inside of the card!!! We are definitely brewing up some fun! What do you think is in that mug? Potions? Hahaha.

Pretty Pink Posh – August 2023 New Release – Ghosts and Pumpkins!

BOO! Hello friends! I am SOOOOO excited today to share some Halloween cards! I am beyond ready for Fall crafting, and Fall in general! Yippeeeee! Today is the first day of a big blog hop celebrating the new August release from our friends at Pretty Pink Posh. You guys know that I absolutely LOVE the Halloween release from PPP every year…and this year is no different. I had the best time making cards with the new release, and I was smiling the entire time! I hope my cards today get you in the mood to switch seasons! I have three cards today, and then I'll share a fourth card next week when we do the Instagram Hop. My first two cards feature the brand new (and super adorable) Ghost Shaker dies, other brand new supplies, and one of my favorite stencils from last year – the Spooky Sky!! I ended up making two ghost cards because I had made two cloudy backgrounds. I couldn't decide which one I liked better, so I used them both! Yay! This first card is an A2 white card base, layered with brilliant teal and a cutie pie witchy poo ghostie!! Hee hee. She's a good witch, so don't worry.

For the boo sentiment, I used the new Large Boo Shadow Dies…. The hat, broom and moon are frm the new Halloween Mug Additions Dies set. ADORABLE!!! I die cut the ghost shape and colored on her with some Copic Markers and added some cheeky cheeks…

I die cut my pieces from colored cardstock and added Copic Marker accents and white gel pen accents. The "you're spooktacular" sentiment is from the new Sentiment Strips Halloween stamps and matching dies….

I stenciled onto teal cardstock with the Spooky Sky Stencils set. The set has clouds, stars and bats and it's awesome. I used white pigment ink for the clouds and Oxide ink for the stars….

My second card is also an A2 card base – in gray cardstock. I layered the stenciled panel (also the same gray cardstock). This time I made my ghostie out of vellum so he's sparkly and see through!! I splattered him, and the background, with silver paint.

This little ghostie is holding his jack-o-lantern he just made! The pink cheeks are Copic Markers – they work great on vellum!

I die cut the happy halloween words from black cardstock!

For this background, I used gray cardstock and inked on Salvaged Patina Oxide Ink around the edges…It made a cool blue/gray kind of color! I used the same white and yellow ink for the stars and clouds….

My craft room is haunted by cute ghosts now!! Hee hee!! I'm okay with it!

Here are the stencils and both of my finished backgrounds… I love them both, even though they are so different. Remember to play around with your colors!

My third card goes in a totally different direction – AUTUMN!! I used the brand new Stitched Pumpkins Dies (these are going to get used A LOT!) and the brand new Argyle Stencils to create a warm fall card… The finished card is an A2 cream cardstock, layered with my stenciled panel, and then those pumpkins!! I used a warm palette of amber, brown and deep orange…

Here's a side view of my card. As usual, I did some paint splatters (in gold) and ink shading on my die cut pieces. I used a deep orange cardstock and ink blended with distress inks and blender brushes just to the tops of the pumpkins and the bottom of the leaves.

I used Amber and Vintage Photo Distress Inks on cream cardstock for my stenciling…. I love this deep warm golden yellow….

The sentiment is from last years gorgeous Falling Leaves stamps and stencils…Love…

The pumpkins die set has three sizes of pumpkins, leaves, and little curlies… Also it has jack-o-lantern faces. I think this is perfection! You can make harvest pumpkins or halloween pumpkins. Paulina thought of everything!! Literally the perfect pumpkin set.

Pretty Pink Posh – June 2023 New Release – You’re the Zest!

Hello friends!!! Guess what? I have more fruits for you today!! LOLZ. And I have more next week too!! Seems like it's the theme of the Summer! I don't care because I love this fruit theme. Makes me smile. Today's card is for the Pretty Pink Posh new release Instagram Hop! If you have Instagram, be sure to pop over to my post today and leave a comment for a chance to win a prize! But, in case you aren't an Instagram person, I'm posting here too. I think you are the ZEST! My card features lemons and oranges and makes me thirsty for a summertime cocktail! Cheers!

My finished card is a white A2 card base. I layered yellow polka dot patterned paper, my stenciled panel, vellum and my focal layer. It's such a bright and happy card. I do love yellow for crafting in the Summer!!

Here's a side view of my layers…. I love those wonky rectangles dies….

I started this card by stenciling the beautiful Layered Citrus Stencils in yellows and oranges (my ink colors are in the supply links at the bottom of my post). I used blender brushes and it was easy peasy lemon squeezy to stencil this pretty panel. I splattered on some white paint and set it aside to dry…. I used the Wonky Rectangle dies to cut both my stenciled layer and my vellum layer.

I used the dies from the brand new Citrus set to die cut a lemon and an orange and the leaves. I used inks to blend on some shading colors. My top layer is a circle and I stamped that cute sentiment in black!

I die cut a stitched circle to put my fruits and sentiment on. I added a few little heart sprinkles as my finishing touch! I love these vivid colors – so happy!! I want to make this card again in green for limes! That stencil is really cute!

Pretty Pink Posh June 2023 New Release – Fresh & Fruity!!

Hi guys!!! I have a really fun post for you today!!! Yes, more fruits!!! It's definitely a trend and I love it! (hint, I'll have more fruity fun on my blog in a couple weeks too! Ha!) It's just such a fresh and cheerful theme for Summertime… I have always enjoyed crafting with a fruity feeling. Got out my Copics for this post and had a blast coloring everything just so…. I forget how much I love to sit and color!! Today is day three of a giant blog hop celebrating the brand new June 2023 release from our friends at Pretty Pink Posh!! So happy, as always, to be included in the hop line up. Welcome to my stop today! I have THREE cards to share with you and I cannot wait to get started!! My first card is a strawberry explosion! This card features the brand new Fresh Berries Stamp Set and matching dies!! OHHHH my gosh! I also added in some little bees from one of my favorite PPP stamp sets of all time. A little bit of big gingham and we're good to go! My finished card is an A2 white card base. I layered black, then gingham, then vellum and white….

Here's a side view of my layers and a close up of the bottom of the card. For the berry basket I die cut out five baskets and then stamped the top one and colored it. This gives a LOT of dimension to the basket and makes it look 'real' to me. Did I mention how much fun it was to color these?? 🙂

And a close up of those deeelicious berries!! Lots of white gel pen accents here…and yellow enamel dots for the flower centers too!

I wrapped twine around the berry basket and added a little heart to the bow. I looooove details.

Let's talk about how adorable that sentiment is!! And a matching die cut too!! Love it BERRY much!!

My second card today is a POP UP! I have been obsessed with the PPP pop up box card die since it was released and I can't stop making these easy and fun pop ups!! This card features two more new sets – Watermelon and Citrus! I used the sentiment from the Summer Friends stamp set too!! I did some ink blending to look like a blue summer sky (or maybe a swimming pool!)…. The folded pop up card fits into an A2 sized envelope. Again, lots more Copic coloring. Yay!

I started by stamping oranges and lemons and limes and watermelons!! I die cut them out and colored them in. I also added white gel pen accents. I also added some sparkly gems to some of the fruits. Why does this make me want a mai tai?! LOL.

I die cut the pieces for the pop up box out of juicy green cardstock. I die cut the accent pieces from white cardstock and used distress oxide ink and a blender brush to add blue shading… I stamped the sentiment on the front panel in rich black ink.

Here is the folded card in my hand to show you the size and scale. I cannot recommend this die set enough. It is SOOOO easy to make these fun pop ups!

I staggered the fruits inside the pop up panels and glued some on and used foam tape on some. I put the larger fruits at the back and tried to make it so they all show up. It's an explosion!! And this makes me happy.

My last card for today is a wee notecard featuring the brand new (awesome) Mini Scallop Card Dies set!!! It is a two piece set that makes the folded card and the smaller square front panel. This is going to get used a lot!! I used the Sweet Cherries stamp set to make the cherries. I used the brand new Smile Shadow Dies to make the sentiment…. A bit of ink blending…. and that's it! The finished card is 3" x 3" – would be perfect for gift bags or table place cards….

I die cut out the card from some gingham from my stash. I ink blended the top of the square using oxide ink….

Pretty Pink Posh May 2023 New Release – You’re SO Tweet!

Hi guys! Happy Monday! How was your weekend? We had a nice weekend here in Sacramento! Hope you're ready for a fresh new week and some creating and crafting! Last week I shared a card I made with the new Pretty Pink Posh release for the big Blog Hop…. And today is the first day of the big Instagram Hop for the new release. I have a fun card to share with you – more birdies, Copic Markers and some ink blending too…. If you have Instagram, be sure to head over and leave a comment on all the posts for the hop so you can be eligible to win a prize. Let's get started on my card for today!

My finished card is an A2 white card base, layered with kraft, teal and white. I used the brand new Swiss Dots Stencils with white ink on the kraft to create my background. My card features the brand new A Little Birdie stamps and dies and the brand new Spring Birdhouses stamps and dies. I also used the previously released Floral Corners stamps, and the pop up box dies in a different way too!

This sentiment is really cute!! I could see this as a thank you card or a just because card…. Here's a side view of my layers and pieces….

I started by stamping and die cutting out the birdhouse, branch, floral spray and birdies, and coloring everything with Copic Markers. I added white gel pen accents as well.

To frame my little scene, I used parts and pieces of the Scalloped Box Pop Up Card dies! I used the back portion for the arch and the front panel for my sentiment. I wanted a little pop of yellow, so I ink blended Distress Oxides in yellows on both white panels. Yellow just automatically makes everything more cheerful.

This Floral spray was just the right touch for a bit more color up there in the corner of my card. I have loved this stamp set since it came out!!

Pretty Pink Posh May 2023 New Release Blog Hop – Just a Note Birdhouse Card!

Hello crafting pals! It's MAY! Wow, the year is flying! It's almost Summer! I hope you're having a great week so far. My week has been busy and starting tomorrow we are going to a church conference which I am very excited about! Life is good in the neighborhood!! Today I'm here on the blog as part of the giant blog hop celebrating the new May 2023 release from Pretty Pink Posh! You know Paulina has made more new cute things for us to create with, and everything is perfect for late Spring and early Summer…..

The blog hop this month is three days, and as usual, there will be an Instagram hop next week and I'll share another card then too. Today is my day in the hop lineup and I'm happy to share a project with you! Prizes, supplies, discounts and the link list are at the bottom of my post today. Let's get started!

I am seriously in love with everything from the new release!! Today's card features the brand new Decorative Birdhouse Dies and the brand new Stitched Birds Dies! I also used the previously released Just a Note Script Dies! LOVE…. My finished card is a white A2 card base layered with blue, gingham and white. I wanted a real hot Summer day vibe… You know, a gingham tablecloth, sunflowers, and birdies chirping….

Here's a side view so you can see all my layers! I adore that new sentiment die…it will be perfect for so many cards!

I had my idea for my card and I knew I wanted Sunflowers….so I got out my Spring Foliage Dies set and used yellow and brown to create small scale Sunflowers to add to my birhouse. They are so dang cheerful!! My birdhouse was constructed with two colors of brown cardstock and gingham paper. I matched the blue in the bird to the gingham paper for a nice look.

I gently pinched the petal of the sunflowers to make them a bit 'rustic' and to pop up off the card. Here are the different elements of the birdhouse… I added a sweet red heart over the door!

I used the Stitched Birds Dies to make that little guy! I can't wait to make more birdies too! I'm thinking Christmas Cardinals already! Love.

Pretty Pink Posh Sweet Easter Wreath!

Helllooooooo my dear crafty pals! Hope your week is going great! I have another fun Easter card to share today – made with the brand new release from Pretty Pink Posh! I made this card for the new release Instagram Hop! This Spring/Easter release is so great – I could make so many cards!! Thank you for all your kind comments on my post from the blog hop last week. I think you guys like this release too!!

My card today features the brand new Leafy Spring Wreath stamp set and dies and the brand new Easter Sentiments stamp set! My finished card is an A2 white card base. I layered gingham and then an ink blended center panel – then that pretty wreath. I used lots of Copics and enjoyed coloring this so much. I really do love to sit and color – I find it so relaxing!

I used about six shades of bright clear greens to color all the leaves. Then I colored everything else with pastel Easter colors. I stamped and die cut out the wreath, bow, and animals and then colored everything. I also added white gel pen accents.

Here's a side view of my layers. I love to pop everything up with foam tape for shadow and dimension…. How sweet are those critters??

I felt like pearls would be a nice touch on this card – with the pastels…. I used oxide ink and a blender brush to ink just the top of that white center panel. I wanted to pick up a little more of that blue color of the birdies.

My first card today is the most happy and cheery Easter card I've ever made I think!! The Easter Bunny, eggs, tulips, carrots and…coffee?!! I used the brand new Easter Mug Additions dies set along with the other Mug die sets to create an Easter explosion!! All the happy colors too!! My finished card is an A2 white card base layered with yellow and white…

I mixed and matched the dies in the Easter Mug Additions dies to create a sweet little gray Easter Bunny to pop out of my mug!! I added lots of white gel pen accents, glitter, and some Copic Marker accents too….

The sentiment is also brand new and I die cut it out of gray cardstock and layered with vellum…. I wanted it a bit softer than using black for the sentiment. I used lots of different die sets to make all the elements for this card. It was so much fun to keep adding things!! I kept it cohesive by using the same tone of colors. My supply list is at the bottom of my post…

I used lots of foam tape to put everything together – layering elements until I got it just the way I wanted it! I gently ink blended some purple ink on the bottom of the mug to give it some depth. (I can't wait to see what mug additions PPP comes up with next!)

Carrots and tulips – nothing says Easter more than that!!

My second card for today features something we've been waiting for… The brand new Scallop Box pop up card dies!!! Hurray! PPP has made us the easiest pop up die set ever! I used the new card pop up dies along with the brand new Spring Chicks stamps and dies and the new Umbrellas stencils to make this Spring card! Little chicks out dancing in the rain with their colorful umbrellas! I had fun coloring with vivid colors of Copics on this one.

The Scallop Box Card die set comes with the base (here in blue) and the accent pieces (here in white)… It also has the 'bars' that go across to hold your elements and serve as the front of the card. It's incredibly fast and easy to put together. I stamped and die cut out my chicks and umbrellas and colored everything with markers…. I also added white gel pen accents.

SO SWEET!!!

I used the new Layered Umbrellas stencils (just the raindrops stencil) to make the background of raindrops. My clouds are coated in glitter glue….

And here it is folded flat for mailing! Genius! I'm so excited to think of all the things I can make with this pop up!!

And here's the view of the bottom of the card so you can see how it comes together. I used sweet Spring sentiments and some little hearts to finish off my card. Can't wait to mail this one. {smile}

Pretty Pink Posh Birthday 2023 Release – Make a Wish Birthday Mug!

Hello my lovelies! How was your Valentine's Day?! I hope you got lots of chocolates and some flowers too! We are pretty low key about Valentine's Day around here and we'll go out to dinner this weekend to celebrate LOVE! Can't wait to go out! I have something fun to share with you today! It's my second project I made with the brand new, beautiful 2023 February/Birthday new release from Pretty Pink Posh! Remember last week there was a big blog hop to celebrate the new release? Well, this week is the Instagram Hop portion of the new release! So…if you have Instagram, be sure to check out the hop there, and leave comments on the posts for more chances to win some prizes! I always like to post my card on my blog too. Today's card is a very colorful and festive birthday wish…in a mug!! Candles, balloons, stars…and coffee! You know this is right up my alley! The new release is so great – I hope you've had a chance to look at it all. We always need more birthday card ideas and supplies, right?! You can shop the NEW RELEASE here!

My finished card is a white A2 card base and I covered it with soft pink gingham paper. I layered white paper with ink blending, and then my mug full of birthday surprises!

I am featuring the brand new Birthday Mug Dies that are a great addition to the mug series! This new set is full of everything for birthdays and parties. I didn't even use all the items! I used a bright color palette to look like a party – yellow, pink, aqua and lime green. So festive and cheerful.

I die cut the mug from aqua cardstock and then inked it with distress ink and a blender brush in a darker shade to add shadow and interest. The sentiments are from two new birthday sentiment items. I really like to combine sentiments in this way!

I die cut all the pieces out and used Copic Markers and Distress Inks to add shading. I also used a white gel pen and lots of glitter!! I used the brand new Layered Party Hats Stencils (I used just the stars stencil from the set) to stencil on some stars in the background. I ink blended just the top of that wonky rectangle too.

All the elements were attached to the card with foam tape so they pop off the paper.

Seriously, everything is SO MUCH FUN and so happy. I could make birthday cards all day long with the new release. Make a WISH!
