This is the prize package for my stop on the hop! Wooohoooo!
And, since it's New Year's I want to share a project with you! I made a super fun snowman New Year card! I bought this awesome stamp set (So Many Snowmen) for making Christmas cards, but it never got inked. Well…I thought… Let's make those cute snow people into a winter New Year card! They look just like the crowd at Times Square! LOL. I colored them with Copic Markers and created a pretty Distress Ink snowy background for them! All the supplies are linked below in this post.
This is an A2 sized card. The snowmen stamp is wider than an A2 so I trimmed it to fit onto the front of this card. Also, the stamp has some Christmas specific images in it that I wanted to crop out for this occasion. I colored the snowmen in with Copic Markers. I added top hats to the snow peeps on the top row using the extra little stamp that comes in the set. The numbers were die cut from sparkly silver cardstock for an icy look! The Happy New Year sentiment was stamped and heat embossed with white powder. The background was made using my two fav colors of Distress Inks! Then I splattered some Copic Opaque White for snow! I love how it came out!
See that one little snowman that is popped up with some foam tape in the middle? Well, he's covering up some holly leaves on the other guys' hat!!! My husband thought of that idea! LOL. He's a good crafty husband!
See the holly? That's where the other snowman face went!
I mounted the snowmen to the card using foam tape. I also used foam tape for the numbers and the sentiment. Just makes everything pop a bit! I added a few sparkly gems and bits of Wink Of Stella to make it pretty!

Thank you for coming by! HAPPPPPYYYYYY NEWWWWWW YEAR! We are going to have lots of fun creating together in 2018 I just know it! I wish you and your family a blessed, happy, healthy, and successful new year! Love ya! XOXO

Hi happy New Year 😀 I love your snowmen card, it’s gorgeous
Wonderful card Wanda! My crafty New Years resolution is to get back to scrapbooking my sons and grandsons pictures. I put it off for a year or so and really miss it. I’ll continue to make cards for my friends and family though because I enjoy making them too.

Wanda your snowman card makes a great new years card and it does kind of bring Times Square to mind… Teehee
My resolution is to get my craft room reorganized ASAP so I can start fresh for the new year. I have too many ideas in my head to mention here but I am still trying to master my water colouring skills.
Have a healthy, happy New Year Wanda. HUGS
Happy New Year! One of my crafty resolutions is to use up the pieces and parts I’ve accumulated.
A darling card! My resolution is to find the space for my crafty stuff while living in a trailer.
I love this card. My craft room is 95% organized, so my resolution is to “play’ in it every day. Since I am retired I have that option. I plan to start making Christmas Cards immediately. I want to make at least 5 cards a month using a different set of “toys” each month. I love this snowman card.
Wanda, what a fab idea from your husband (they are useful sometimes – LOL) and the card is absolutely adorable. I have liked this stamp set but thought it was only suitable for Christmas cards, I might have to look at it in a different light now you have used it for a New Year’s card too. You have been very generous in your ‘Give-Away’ so thank you so much. I am a fairly new crafter so I am building up my stash slowly but my New Year’s crafting resolution is to use up all the card stock and DSP I have bought or accumulated last year before purchasing any new stock. But that leaves more money to purchase more dies and stamps (do you like my thinking?) Happy 2018! :O)
What an adorable card, Wanda!
My crafty NYResolution is to spend more time in my attic studio. It’s where I create and talk with my Creator. It’s a place that gives me peace.
Happy new year to you!!
Happy New Year! Thank you for inspiring me to create throughout 2017 and here’s to more fun in 2018. This year I hope to find more time to create and my resolution is to make at least 10 cards a month.
Happy New Year Wanda! Thank you for the inspiration that you share throughout the year. My resolution is to make more cards to donate for a cause.
Happy New Year! I am resoving this year to use all the wonderful things i have bought and to be better about sending cards out. I have so many stamps i have never even used, yet i keep buying more! LOL
Happy New Year! I love your card, it’s so adorable. Thanks as well for the lovely giveaway – your prize package is amazing! My 2018 will be all about finding a balance between my family life and my crafty life – I am expecting a new baby any day now, so it will be a challenge, but I’m sure I can manage! I also want to work on my Copic colouring, and learn how to colour with coloured pencils.
Have a great day!
Wanda, what a great card. I love snowmen and blue and silver and … just love it all. Thanks for the inspiration that you give me through out the year!
That is the most adorable snowman card. Love! I need to improve my coloring skills in the new year.
Love your card! My resolution is to organize all my stamps and dies I have and check to see if I gave something similar before buying new!
I love all those snowmen! My New Year’s resolution is more about finishing things. I really want to be better about my scrapbooking and finish at least two vacation albums.
I love your snowman card! Happy New Year!
Wow, Wanda!!! Love that snowman card and how you hid the holly! What a clever husband!! I am so glad to see you use the snowmen as I did see your IG story on it – you rocked it!!! Here’s wishing you a wonderful, healthy, happy and productive 2018!!! My crafty projects for 2018 include some baby quilts for friends, accompanying cards and just getting the craftiness flowing again!
Thank you for your awesome generosity and inspiration!
What a great card for the new year. Thanks for all your inspiration throughout the past year. May 2018 spark your creativity even more.

My craft resolutions are to make cards ahead of time to actually have some ready for various known occasions and try some new techniques. I so appreciate what I learn and how you inspire us! Julie L

Love how you used the stamp set for a new year,s card.
Cute snowmen Wanda! My resolution is to use my current stash!
What a cute snowman card! I love it!
My resolution is to learn to color and shade better using my color pencils.
Wanda it is because of this blog today that I’ve been introduced to your lovely talents. I have subscribed to your blog and became a follower on instagram. I had a little peak back at some of your older post and you have really done some beautiful work. I love the snowmen card and your husband how clever is he for coming up with a great solution with the snowman’s hat. As to your question my crafty resolution this year is to be more organized, than what craziness I just went through this Christmas. The way I plan to do this is by every month coming up with 2-3 different styles of card fronts that are easily mass produced and make approximately 6 to 12 of each style. Hoping by December of next year I will have many cards to give as sets of gifts to my caregivers like my nurses, doctors, therapists and social worker. Thus avoiding all the stress I just went through and I am still trying to recover from. Lyme disease and stress do not mix well together, really stress does not mix well with anything. Well, I would like to wish you a very merry, happy, healthy and prosperous New Year. Can’t wait to see what you have planned for 2018, take care. Kari
How cute are those snowmen?! I would love to learn to color like that!
Oh Wanda, I love your cards and good heavens what a fabulous prize pack! My crafty goal this year is to use a lot of the fun stuff I’ve acquired and to increase my coloring skills… Thanks for participating!

Another adorable card. I love all things snowmen. And it does remind me of all the people in Times Square last night. But, before I buy yet another adorable stamp, my plan is to make at least one card from all the new stamps I bought the last few months. Right now my craft room looks like a bomb went off in there. My plan is to get in there today and get it put back together after the Christmas rush to make my Christmas cards. Happy New Year to you and yours. I look forward to more inspiration from all you talented ladies.
Adorable card! My resolution is to actually use the stamps I bought and have never used.

Those are awesome prizes! One of my crafting resolutions is to start thinking out of the box more when I’m making projects. Your cards are always such an inspiration! Happy New Year and thanks for the generous giveaway. My crafty resolution is to teach and share my beloved stamping lifestyle with more people. That’s what it’s all about, right?

Happy New Year! My goal for 2018 is to plan/organize better for my card making. I tend to start something and get sidetracked, so I spent today (1/1/18) going through those projects and deciding if I need to complete or not.
Your card is so adorable and yes, what a great crafty husband you have. I love snowmen!
My crafty resolution is to finish the inside of my cards as well as the matching envelope at the same time I make the card … rather than waiting until I give the card away.
Happy New Year!!!
My husband and I are going to pool our talents (he’s a writer and painter and I’m a card maker) to start our own business!

Wanda, I just told Nichol Spohr that I don’t make resolutions, but I read that someone else said she hopes to use up her stash and not buy as much — me too! Glad to see the snowmen used after
Christmas. I’m using that set

that I’ve set to the side and
not put into action. I also
want to improve my design skills.
thanks for sharing.
Happy New Year

I love seeing what all of my crafty idols have made (I admired your work for years in card making magazines back before there was internet), then I go load up my shopping carts, and never create.
