Hello my sweet friends. How are you?? Like, really, how are you? I'm freaked out, to be honest. I feel weird. This is the strangest time ever. I have super high anxiety and I am so worried for my friends who own their own small businesses. Not to mention being freaked out by this virus and what it might do. I honestly don't know what to think. Yesterday, my husband's work finally sent them all off to work from home. So now here we are, me, Lucky and hubs… Now what? I guess I'll keep crafting and try not to watch the news too much, and pray. What else is there to do? I am sending hugs and good vibes your way and I'm hoping you are all doing fine and staying healthy and busy. Much love. XO
Pretty Pink Posh has a new release today – a small release for Easter and Spring! Paulina, the owner of PPP just had a sweet baby boy two weeks ago, so she has her hands full! So she asked some of us to spread the word about the new products. Everything is so fresh and pretty. My favorite item is the new Hedgehogs set, so I colored that one right away and made a card. My finished card is a white A2 card base. I layered some gingham patterned paper (my fav) and then used one of the gorgeous new border dies as an accent.
I stamped the hedgie, the mushrooms, the heart and branch and die cut them all with the matching dies. I colored everything with Copic Markers and used a white gel pen to add accents.
To make the 'ground' for the hedgie I used two shades of Distress Inks and added blue to the top and green to the bottom of a rectangular panel. Easy way to add some color and still keep the layout clean and pretty.
I die cut the new scallop border die from white cardstock and added it on top of the gingham. I stamped the cute sentiment directly onto the scalloped panel. I placed the heart in the hedgie's hand…
Just a few Nuvo Drops accents to finish off the card! Oh! And some pearls too…

Thank you for spending your time with all of us. Such very uncertain times. I’m sad that 2 of my grandkids have had to leave their colleges & fellowships. They’ve worked so hard to get where they are. Makes me sad but I’m hanging in there thanks to paper ink & my sewing machine! All we can do is keep on keeping on. And pray ❤️

Your little hedgie is so adorable! Glad to hear Paulina’s baby has arrived also. Trust that God will take care of these troubles my friend. I think crafting keeps our minds on happier things. We are retired so home is pretty natural for us. I love my space and am looking forward to warmer days and the arrival of Spring! Stay positive and I hope you and Mark stay healthy and safe!
