Introducing a sweet new release from Hello Bluebird! Happy GOOD Friday!

Hi friends! Happy Friday! Happy GOOD Friday! It's a blessed and beautiful day indeed! I hope you have a beautiful Easter weekend this weekend, as we all try to make the most of the holiday. We'll be watching church online all weekend and having a backyard party with just the two of us. It's going to be a gorgeous weekend here in Sacramento. Sending love your way.

There was a brand new release yesterday from Hello Bluebird. I was lucky enough to have Kaydee mail me some of the stamp sets early so I could make a project to share with you. Like every other release from Hello Bluebird, this one is perfectly sweet and beautiful. I love everything from this company!! I chose to make a little Easter Hello greeting with a cute bun bun and a girl in her Easter dress!!!

My finished card is an A2 kraft card base. I layered some pink and white mini gingham and then a white panel for the top. I combined three of the new stamp sets to make my scene. I kept the background lighter because I was going for a storybook feeling!

I started by stamping the trees directly onto the background. Then I stamped the rocks/grass, the bun bun, the girl, and the bird. I colored everything with Copic markers and cut them out by hand (the dies are backordered because of Covid…)  I used a little piece of the gingham to paper piece her shirt and bow to match the bottom layer of the card.

I die cut a cloud die and stamped the sentiment directly onto the top of it. I used Distress ink to gently ink the clouds and the ground.

Everything was affixed to the card using foam tape for dimension – you know I love that!

The rocks/grass image is part of a giant background stamp, I stamped just this part using my MISTI and cut it out to place under the trees. Tip: To add some rock interest I used just the fine tip of my marker to add some dots.

Hello Bluebird has some really sweet things in this release. Your card is so detailed and it does look very much like a storybook. Blessings for a glorious Easter. We are also low key but so grateful for family and friends. God is truly good!
