Hello crafty pals! I'm here with another vintage inspired project that I made for Brenda Walton Studio! I used the fun and versatile Sizzix Mini Correspondence dies along with the Brenda Walton Carte Postale Stamp Set to make a trio of pretty mini notes sure to brighten anyone's holiday! These little cards and envelopes have so many uses – you can put them on a present as a tag, tuck a note inside a food gift, or even hang them on the tree as ornaments. The shapes are classic and simple — you make them your own by choosing papers and pretty embellishments!
I used the awesome paper collection called Holiday Style from October Afternoon, along with some vintage-y items in my Christmas stash! The die set comes with a library pocket, a mini envelope and a coin pocket envelope, along with three different shaped notes that fit inside.
It brings the entire project together when you use papers from the same paper pack, as I did here. I used only papers from my pad, and then used two neutrals – kraft and cream. For my stamping I used brown ink and linen ink instead of black. This also adds a vintage feel.
I punched a heart out of red cardstock and tucked it inside this library pocket note!
For the mini envelope, I cut it out of the red words paper. Then I cut a second one out of the holly paper and used it as a liner for the envelope! Looks so pretty – combining all these patterns together!
PRIZE ALERT!!!!
Leave me a comment below with your fun and fab idea for this die set….and I'll randomly draw a winner for their own Mini Correspondence Die! YIPPPEEEEE! Thank you to Brenda Walton and Sizzix for the great prizes!
Thank you for stopping by today! I hope I've inspired you to get a start on some holiday crafting. It's never to early to panic, I mean start! LOL. Have a wonderful day! XO

Super cute Wanda!! They would make cute office gifts!! Thanks for sharing!!
Hi Wanda, beautiful work!
Every year I make my (now 93 yrs. old) Mother in law 24 Christmas/gift cards for her birthday (in Nov.) I try to make a different style each year with a unique cash pocket. I would use one of those envelope dies on the inside of the cover, cut in beautiful paper to tuck the cash in!
Thanks for the chance to win!
Oh my gosh Wanda, these are just gorgeous! I love the colors and the vintage feel!
Wanda, your pocket cards are gorgeous! Love the vintage look on them. The paper collection your used is perfect. The embellishments on them are beautiful.
I am thinking of making gift card holder, love notes holder and school lunch notes for my girls using this die set. THANK YOU for the inspirations and chance to win this fabulous dies.
OKG I want these they are gorgeous! And I agree they remind me of vintage note cards stuck into presents. Love your blog love your work Wanda!!!
I sponser bingo for the elderly in December and give away door prizes for different things such as: the oldest person there, the one with the most grandchildren, the one who drove the farthest, the one with the most “bionic” parts, etc. It is a hoot and I thought it would be great to put the prizes in these tags. The prizes are usually very simple and inexpensive such as a backrub, pedicure, haircut, home made goodies, etc. We write the prizes on the tags and they collect at a later date! Thanks for the chance to win!
I visit your blog often and love seeing your creative ideas. I think this set would be perfect for little notes to put in my daughters lunch box.
These are so beautiful. Brenda creates the most lovely vintage items for us to re-create. I think I would like to,have this die set to create gift card holders. I make 5 for my Granddaughters 5 besties . It seems those 15 year old girls LOVE gift cards to coffee & donut shop after school. To Sephora for new cosmetics, to Taco Bell for well you know…tacos. The girls all call me Gramma. I feel like I am. Love them.
Cute to mail your Christmas letter and a photo to friends
Such sweet and cute note cards..always cute to put them on a card!
Frond or inside with a gift card..
I love your examples–so lovely and vintage-y. I think it would be fun to demo these at a make n take or design a class around them. I love your patterned paper and think a vintage Valentine would also be lovely.
Oh how cute!!! I would make an advent calendar with it!!!
Super! Love those 3 mini envelopes and think I need to make some for special occasions as well as for Christmas. So special!!!
These would be so great to use for gifts throughout the year. I LOVE what you did with them, by the way 🙂
I would use them as gift card holders as well as a place to tuck a pair of earrings or some other small gift…a love note for your Valentine perhaps? They could also be used on layouts with the journaling tucked inside. Of as the focal point on the front of a card as either an embellishment or to hold a gift card.
Love these mixed media tags! So much Christmas cheer and it’s getting me excited for Christmas crafting. Are the envelopes big enough for gift cards? I would probably use them for making tags to go along with cookie deliveries to neighbors.
This would be perfect for a baby shower I will be holding next year — fun invitations, shower games, oh the ideas are endless. . . .
I love your style, you are so inspiring… I would use them for tags for gifts. So many possibilities.

These are so darn cute with all the patterned papers and stamping. I love that you made matching envelopes and made them all coordinate. Using brown ink instead of black is a great tip to make them vintage and I’ll have to remember that!
Whoops! I hit post before I told you how I would use this set. I volunteer in my 5 year old’s kindergarten class and these would make really cute tags for the teacher to use when she wants to tell a student that they did a great job. They would also be fun to use for little I love you notes tucked into a lunch box!
Oh are these cute and festive! I love the different envelope styles and the cute scalloped and decorative edges on two of the tags. These would make a great way to present gift cards for Christmas or any time of year. I give a lot of gift cards out and you could hang these on the tree as ornaments before they’re opened. Thanks for the chance to win!
What couldn’t you make with these dies?! I would make little love notes for my kids and husband, gift cards to attach to presents, gift tags with cash or a sucker tucked into them, and even a fun little banner. You could string a bunch of these little tags and envelopes across the mantel and make it into an advent banner!

The first thing I would make would be a mini album using all the different envelopes and notecards!!! How cute would that be?!?!?! I would then make a bunch of notecards to put in hubby’s lunch bag each day!! Thanks for the chance to win them sooner than I could afford to buy them!!
They would make great treasure hunt messages for Christmas Day, or any other time of the year, actually they would make really good family member memorials for the Christmas tree.
