  • TGIF – The Greetery Inspiration Friday – Garden Gloves!

Hi friends! Happy Friday! And it's definitely TGIF – which means The Greetery Inspiration Friday! I am sharing this card over on The Greetery Blog today and of course I had to post it here too! How are you my friends? How was your week? The first official week of Summer!! I had a very busy week but that's okay with me. I am enjoying being busy. Our weather has been perfection here and I'm so grateful it's not been super hot yet. We are celebrating 29 years together tomorrow for my husband and I (wow)! We met on a blind date! Yeah! Almost 30 years? Unbelievable! We will go out for a nice dinner to celebrate but that's about it. I am still very much longing for some time by the ocean but it hasn't happened yet. Gas here is about $6.50 a gallon and that has put the kabash on a lot of road trippin.

Anyhoooo I am happy to be here today sharing a garden theme card made from the latest The Greetery Release! I absolutely loved the Garden Variety Release! I couldn't resist making one more project with it! I thought maybe your goodies are arriving at your house too and you might like to see another card. My fav things from the release are the Daisy Days Suite and the Garden Gloves. I combined those two things into a pair of pretty gardening gloves. Mix in some gingham and twine….. My finished card is an A2 card base, layered with citrus green, white and woodgrain…

That new Scripty Hello Die is absolutely the best! It works on everything!!!

I started by stenciling the entire panel of the Daisy Days image. I used pretty summer shades of greens, yellows and blues…. On crisp white cardstock. Then I used the Garden Gloves Dies and die cut out the gloves. They cut out perfectly from the panel. EEP. I was so excited how they turned out.

What did you think of yesterday?? Do you have a favorite item yet? I love this release!! The only word I keep thinking is FRESH! Guess what?  I have three more cards to show you today! I am SO excited! Today is day two, the final day, of reveals. All of the new items will be available for shopping tomorrow, Thursday May 26th at 10am EST! Start making your list now! And there will be a big surprise when the new release goes live – so set your alarm for early shopping!! Yay!!

My first card for today features the brand new Garden Gear – Gloves suite of products! Pretty, perfect gardening gloves! LOVE! (Maybe my favorite thing from the new release). My finished card is an A2 card base layered with kraft and white and gingham…

The gloves are a set of dies that has two gloves, two little tabs with the hearts and two longer little tabs for the top of the gloves. The stencils set makes a beautiful floral pattern in the right size and scale! In this photo you can see a close up of all the die pieces and my layers. I used the stencils, and stenciled white, pink and green inks onto kraft paper. Then I die cut out the gloves and the accompanying pieces.

I used the Market Fresh words to make my sentiment. I added some twine and buttons to the gloves also. If you look closely you can see I added accents to the stenciling with Copics. I used the same ink pads as for my projects yesterday! (Supplies are listed at the bottom of my post).

As a finishing touch, I die cut a pretty butterfly from the Summer Curio die set.

My next card is a floral explosion!!! I think you're going to love these new dies and stamps!!! I am featuring the new Posy Pocket Dies with the new Seed Catalog Stamp on it, and the new Botanicuts Bluebells! I mixed in the previously released Wildflower Mix Dies and the new Plucked Dies. Oh gosh!! The perfect bouquet! And, of course, because Betsy is a genius, there are TWO sizes of Pocket Posy Dies! I used the large one on this card. My finished card is an A2 card base. Layered with cream and vellum, and lots of vintagey watercolory goodness!

Here is a close up of my bouquet. All kinds of flowers! The Bluebells are brand new with this release!! I die cut everything from cream cardstock and water colored with my Mini Distress ink pads and a water brush. Super easy.

And a close up of the Posy Pocket!!!! I stamped it in brown ink onto cream cardstock using the new Seed Catalog Background Stamp. The way Betsy designed the Posy Pocket, if you stamp a large image, it will remain in the right orientation after you put it together. I'm sure Betsy will do a video of this – it's so well designed and simple to put together.

My sentiment is a tiny little banner up in the corner with a heart… The layer on top is cream cardstock. I wrinkled it in my hands gently and then splashed on some Vintage Photo Distress Ink and water. I also used a distressed tool to make the edges frayed. (Supplies are listed at the bottom of my post) and made it look old and worn…

My third and final card for the new release features the new Garden Gear – Tools dies and stencils/stamps!! CUTE gardening tools?? Are you kidding??? Such a great idea!! My finished card is an A2 white card base. I layered some gingham and some pretty scallops too…. The sentiments are so adorable – I dig you!!

Here is a close up of the layers I used for the handles. I die cut the entire spade out of white cardstock and then layered another set of each part on top. I die cut silver, white, woodgrain and teal cardstock and glued the pieces onto the main piece. The top was made using the stencils and stamps that match up so perfectly!!! I used the SSS ink pads for my pretty colors….

For my sentiment I did cut a circle and stamped some flowers and the sentiment onto it! EEP. I assembled some white cardstock, teal, and gingham along with a row of scallops to create my card layout. This card is so happy and cheerful!

  • The Greetery – Garden Variety Release – Day 1!

Hi there! It's a very exciting day! We are here to celebrate the three year anniversary of The Greetery! Congratulations to Betsy! I am so honored to have been part of this awesome company since the very first release. It is a true joy to work with The Greetery! And I am so happy to celebrate this occasion! It's release week!

Today, the team is kicking off a brand new, beautiful release from The Greetery! The new release is called "Garden Variety" and it is perfect for early Summer and anyone who loves flowers and gardening! It's all so very very pretty! Flowers, Garden Tools, New Botanicuts, New word dies…. I can't wait to share my projects with you! Today and tomorrow are project and product reveals, and then the release will go live for shopping on Thursday May 26th at 10am EST. I am quite sure you're gonna like it! Are you excited? I am! Be sure to read all the way to the bottom of my post for prize information and links to the other designers!

Today I have two cards to show you and they are made with the two brand new Print Shop products!! Print Shop Garden Goodness and Print Shop Daisy Days! Stamps, Stencils and Dies that all match together like a dream. I have really come to love stenciling!!

My first card features the brand new Print Shop Daisy Days Stamp/Stencil/Die combo! I also used the new Scripty Hello Dies! The florals fill the front of an A2 card perfectly and you can make your daisies any color combination! Or you could not die cut it out and use it as a full panel… My inspiration for my card was a country Summer… Yellow and Kraft!!  My finished card is an A2 white card base, covered with woodgrain cardstock, vellum, and then the florals.

the greetery, the greetery new release, the greetery garden variety, the greetery stamps and dies, the greetery print shop garden goodness, the greetery print shop daisy days, the greetery stencils, garden theme, diy, handmade cards, card ideas, stamping, the greetery scripty hello die, greetery design team, wanda guess, a blog called wanda

I started the card by stenciling the Daisy Days panel. OMG so so pretty!!! I used yellows and greens to make my bouquet! The stencils are so super easy to use and line up. Perfect every time. I splashed on some white paint on top and used the matching die to cut it out. It fills the entire front of the card. I love the detail in the cut out of the die. VERY classy.

the greetery, the greetery new release, the greetery garden variety, the greetery stamps and dies, the greetery print shop garden goodness, the greetery print shop daisy days, the greetery stencils, garden theme, diy, handmade cards, card ideas, stamping, the greetery scripty hello die, greetery design team, wanda guess, a blog called wanda

I layered a vellum piece over my woodgrain layer. Then I wrapped a bit of twine around it. The floral piece is attached to the card with small foam squares.

the greetery, the greetery new release, the greetery garden variety, the greetery stamps and dies, the greetery print shop garden goodness, the greetery print shop daisy days, the greetery stencils, garden theme, diy, handmade cards, card ideas, stamping, the greetery scripty hello die, greetery design team, wanda guess, a blog called wanda

The sentiment is a new word die set – Scripty Hello and I layered dark brown paper and vellum. It's really nice – the perfect size!!

the greetery, the greetery new release, the greetery garden variety, the greetery stamps and dies, the greetery print shop garden goodness, the greetery print shop daisy days, the greetery stencils, garden theme, diy, handmade cards, card ideas, stamping, the greetery scripty hello die, greetery design team, wanda guess, a blog called wanda

Some of my stenciling tips: I use two sizes of blender brushes! I do the large areas with the bigger brushes and then go back with the smaller brushes to add shading and do the little flowers. For both of my cards today I used the SSS Pawsitively Ink Pads. The colors are vivid and clear and bright. They make sets of threes in each color for shading and they are awesome!! I really love the colors.  I am slowly collecting all the color sets – I buy three or four of the three packs each time. I loooove them both for stamping and for stenciling. I have a lot of ink pads and these are my favs right now!

My next card features the brand new Print Shop Garden Goodness Stamp/Stencil/Die combination! This suite is really cool and has a bit of a different twist… You can make the whole panel your card (as I did here), or you can die cut out the panel and it makes each element a separate piece! Then you can mix and match the small images however you like. Genius!!! My finished card is an A2 card base in white. I die cut a stitched edge around it and kept it super simple…

the greetery, the greetery new release, the greetery garden variety, the greetery stamps and dies, the greetery print shop garden goodness, the greetery print shop daisy days, the greetery stencils, garden theme, diy, handmade cards, card ideas, stamping, the greetery scripty hello die, greetery design team, wanda guess, a blog called wanda

After I stenciled the whole panel, I went back and stenciled a few leaves, the strawberries and the butterflies to add as accents!

the greetery, the greetery new release, the greetery garden variety, the greetery stamps and dies, the greetery print shop garden goodness, the greetery print shop daisy days, the greetery stencils, garden theme, diy, handmade cards, card ideas, stamping, the greetery scripty hello die, greetery design team, wanda guess, a blog called wanda

I shaded the leaves with two shades of green and then stamped the veins in a third color. Doing the shading really brings it to life I feel!!

the greetery, the greetery new release, the greetery garden variety, the greetery stamps and dies, the greetery print shop garden goodness, the greetery print shop daisy days, the greetery stencils, garden theme, diy, handmade cards, card ideas, stamping, the greetery scripty hello die, greetery design team, wanda guess, a blog called wanda

For my sentiment I used vellum and gold glitter cardstock and that pretty new Scripty Hello Die!

  • TGIF – The Greetery Inspiration Friday – Happy Easter!

Hi sweet and lovely crafty friends! Happy Friday! And, it's a great Friday because I'm on The Greetery Blog with a project! TGIF = The Greetery Inspiration Friday! I am sharing an Easter card. It's only three weeks until Easter and I'm loving making all these pretty Easter projects. Easter is my favorite holiday for many reasons… I love the spiritual significance as a Christian, first and foremost. I love Springtime as the world awakens from Winter and the flowers bloom again. And I love Easter decorations and Easter candy!! Crafting for Easter comes easy to me and using beautiful supplies from The Greetery is basically a crafting dream!!

Today my card uses the beautiful Cathedral Die along with the Botanicuts Lily Dies and the Easter word die… I created a classic Easter vibe with a church window and gorgeous Stargazer Lilies. My finished card is an A2 card base made from my favorite woodgrain cardstock. My supplies are listed at the bottom of my post!

the greetery, the greetery stamps and dies, the greetery easter, the greetery cathedral, the greetery botanicuts lily die, die cuts, easter card ideas, easter, make your own easter card, diy, flower die cuts, wanda guess, a blog called wanda

I started by die cutting the cathedral die from Woodgrain cardstock. I backed the cathedral die with vellum and then put bright yellow cardstock underneath to create a lit from within look! I die cut the Easter word twice from gold cardstock and glued them together for a thicker sentiment. I die cut out all the Lily pieces and leaves pieces from Bristol Cardstock. I used Bristol because the ink blends so smoothly on it and it's nice and thick for making flowers and leaves. I used the leaves from the Lily set and also the Palm dies set.

Here is a close up of the spray of lilies. I made two large lilies and one small lily flower. I die cut the pieces and then used small blender brushes to blend Distress ink from the center out. Then I used a Copic Marker to add the more vivid streaks. I splattered on some ink too. I colored the stamen pieces with Copic Markers. The leaves were colored using blender brushes and Distress Inks.

I love using the clear enamel dots to mimic water on fresh flowers! It's hard to see in the photos, but I splattered on some gold paint to the window – subtle, but it really looks pretty in person!

  • The Greetery – Breath of Spring New Release – Day 2!

—->  NOTE: I HAVE TWO BLOG POSTS TODAY! FOR THE PRETTY PINK POSH BLOG HOP POST CLICK HERE! THANK YOU!

Hi friends! Welcome to Day Two of ideas, projects and product reveals for the gorgeous new "Breath of Spring" release from The Greetery! What did you think of yesterday?? Do you have a favorite item yet? The other designers are blowing me away with their cards!! I have three cards to show you today! I am SO excited! Today is day two, the final day, of reveals. All of the new items will be available for shopping tomorrow, Thursday March 17th at 10am EST! Start making your list!

First up today is a French Vintage inspired card featuring the brand new Botanicuts-Crocus Dies, and lots of other Greetery goodies! The finished card is an A2 kraft card base, layered with purple gingham and cream cardstock. This card is definitely a 'more is more' card and it brought me a lot of joy to sit and create it! I was inspired by a French country market, where you can gather up a bouquet of flowers (fleurs) in brown paper wrapping and smile on down the street!

the greetery, the greetery stamps and dies, the greetery new release, the greetery breath of spring, stamping, die cutting, handmade cards, Botanicuts dies, botanicuts crocus, botanicuts pussy willow, amen dies, the greetery curio spring, distress ink blending, floral cards, card ideas, the greetery curio, card layout ideas, wanda guess, a blog called wanda

Here is a close up of the pretty new Crocus dies! My favorite Crocus color is violet/purple/dark blue. In fact, we have some popping out in our front yard right now! It was very easy to assemble these florals, and Betsy will include a guide in the package to help you. I used purple and lavender cardstock and used Distress Inks around the edges of the petals for a bit more detail and dimension. If you look closely, you can see the Botanicuts-Carrots carrot tops as filler greenery.

the greetery, the greetery stamps and dies, the greetery new release, the greetery breath of spring, stamping, die cutting, handmade cards, Botanicuts dies, botanicuts crocus, botanicuts pussy willow, amen dies, the greetery curio spring, distress ink blending, floral cards, card ideas, the greetery curio, card layout ideas, wanda guess, a blog called wanda

I went really vintage with this card. The flower wrap die is a discontinued die from another company, but I think you could craft one by folding a square of cardstock!! I inked and splattered and stamped the wrap part.

the greetery, the greetery stamps and dies, the greetery new release, the greetery breath of spring, stamping, die cutting, handmade cards, Botanicuts dies, botanicuts crocus, botanicuts pussy willow, amen dies, the greetery curio spring, distress ink blending, floral cards, card ideas, the greetery curio, card layout ideas, wanda guess, a blog called wanda

Here's another close up of the Crocus and greenery. I generously splattered on some white paint as well. The "Fresh Picked" words are from the Mason Jar set from The Greetery!

My next card features the whimsical and wonderful Curio Spring elements! Oh man. LOVE LOVE LOVE these! A little snail, a fern, a bird nest….all so pretty! My finished card is an A2 Woodgrain card base, layered with white and then inked all up in shades of Spring green and sky blue. I used the Curio II dies to make my card grid. Instead of using the frame from the Curio set, I used the other pieces to create my own grid! I wanted each item to have it's own little area.

The butterfly is from the Summer Curio set! I chose to used just two main colors to make my card. I inked each small square with Distress inks, just at the top. I die cut everything from colored cardstock and then used Distress Inks and Copic Markers over the cardstock to add emphasis.

  • The Greetery – Breath of Spring New Release – Day 1!

Hey, hey, HEY!! It's an exciting day! Today, the team is kicking off a brand new, beautiful release from The Greetery! The new release is called "Breath of Spring" and it surely is a breath of fresh air! Florals and bunnies and Spring icons, and more florals! It's all so very very pretty! I can't wait to share my projects with you! Today and tomorrow are project and product reveals, and then the release will go live for shopping on Thursday March 17th at 10am EST. I am quite sure you're gonna like it! Are you excited for Spring? I am!

Today I have two cards to show you and they are very different! One is a bold and bright floral and the other is a sweet pastel scene. Something for everyone I think!

My first card features the brand new Print Shop Spring Mix Stamp/Stencil/Die combo! The florals fill the front of an A2 card perfectly and you can make your florals any color combination. My inspiration for my card was Rifle Paper Co – so I went with bold colors (Distress Inks) and a dark black background. Oh, and pops of gold too. My finished card is an A2 white card base, layered in black, and then the floral. I used vellum and gold embossing for the sentiment.

the greetery, the greetery stamps and dies, the greetery new release, the greetery breath of spring, the greetery springtime stamp set, the greetery print shop spring mix, distress inks, easter, spring, birthday, handmade cards, make your own cards, stamping, wanda guess, a blog called wanda

Here's a close up of the new floral. It's a set of stencils – super easy to use!! I added Copic Marker accents over the stamping and I also splattered the entire thing with gold paint. I used black enamel dots for some of the flower centers.

I heat embossed the pretty sentiment onto a vellum strip and wrapped it around the layers.

I love these colors all together. Truly like a big burst of SPRING time!

Next up is a sweet sweet little bun bun holding an umbrella from the Spring showers! This card features the new Springtime Stamp Set and Dies. This stamp set pairs perfectly with the previously release hourglass dies!!! I chose to use the elements without the hourglass. My finished card is an A2 white card base, then a bit of gingham, then some blue and more white.

the greetery, the greetery stamps and dies, the greetery new release, the greetery breath of spring, the greetery springtime stamp set, the greetery print shop spring mix, distress inks, easter, spring, birthday, handmade cards, make your own cards, stamping, wanda guess, a blog called wanda

The sentiments in the new stamp set fit onto the Christmas Time Banners – so you can use them to stamp and die cut them out as I did here. The umbrella is two step stamping – so easy.

the greetery, the greetery stamps and dies, the greetery new release, the greetery breath of spring, the greetery springtime stamp set, the greetery print shop spring mix, distress inks, easter, spring, birthday, handmade cards, make your own cards, stamping, wanda guess, a blog called wanda

That little bunny is just too cute. This stamp set would be perfect for baby shower invites, Easter, or Springtime!!

I used a cloud stencil, Distress Ink, and blender brushes to ink a few clouds over the umbrella. The raindrops are stamps that are part of the new set.

Hello my sweet and crafty friends! How did you enjoy yesterday's introduction to the new release from The Greetery?! Are you excited for the new release? I am!! Today is day two of previews and projects and then only one more sleep until the release goes for sale Friday morning! Thank you for all the kind comments on yesterday's post. THE GREETERY NEW RELEASE IS LIVE FOR SHOPPING FRIDAY, JANUARY 20TH AT 10AM EST!!

I have two more cards to share today! Some sweet strawberries and some even sweeter bon bon confections! Let's get to it!

First up is a card featuring the brand new Botanicuts – Strawberries! OOH LA LA! I used the previously release Market Baskets to create a market fresh little scene on a card. The finished card is an A2 card base, layered with red, and then the white postal panel. This card is mostly die cutting, and I really enjoy that type of crafting….

The sentiments are from the All Kinds of Happy set! This is going to be a great addition to my stamp collection – several types of the word happy, and then loads of accompanying sentiments!! The Botanicut – Strawberry is a big spray with berries, flowers and pretty leaves. This is the entire die. I also added some berries separately to the card.

The Market Baskets were made from dark gray cardstock and just a hint of gingham (because you guys know me…) The Picked Fresh sentiment was perfect for the small label on the basket!

I die cut out the berries, leaves and flowers and added accents with distress inks and a small sponge dauber. I also splattered everything with some white paint for good measure. The sentiment was die cut from the same gray cardstock to make everything come together.

Next up is a card for my friend Forrest….Life is like a box of chocolates! I used the new Curio Confections dies to create a sweet shop card! I used the Curio Cabinet Die and cut off part of it to make it smaller. I backed it with light pink cardstock as the bottom of my 'box'. I used my favorite color palette for sweets: pink, aqua, brown, and dark pink…. LOVE. The strawberries are from the Botanicut – and there are add-ons that make chocolate bottoms and frosting!!! • TGIF – The Greetery Inspiration Friday – Colorful Christmas Trees!

Hi crafty friends! I'm excited to craft and share today for TGIF on The Greetery Blog! And of course, I love to share here too! It's always fun to share a project on The Greetery Blog!! I hope you had a lovely Thanksgiving. We had a super quiet and peaceful Thanksgiving at our home. Lots to be grateful for, that's for darn sure. Now, it's time to finish up our Christmas crafting and creating and start the holiday season in earnest. Today I have a suite of projects with a jolly, merry, holiday theme: A card, a gift card holder, and some pretty tags. I used the same Greetery stamps and dies for all the items so it all matches and would be perfect for giving a gift to a special friend. Let's look!

The Greetery, The Greetery stamps and dies, The Greetery Inspiration Friday, The Greetery design team, wanda guess, a blog called wanda, christmas card ideas, make your own christmas cards, tag team duo, diy christmas tags, The greetery snowflake soiree, the greetery christmas ideas, handmade cards, stamping, die cutting, scrapbooking

I started by choosing a bright and happy color palette of mid tone colors: Greens, pinks and aqua….then I used some vellum and silver too. It's all icy and sparkly. I used the tree die from Christmas Time in the City to die cut out about 20 of those fabulous trees. That was my main element. I used the dies from the Snowflake Soiree suite to die cut silver snowflakes. I die cut tags using the new Tag Team Duo Dies. I laid out all the designs first and mixed and matched elements until I liked it. I splattered everything with white paint (snow!) of course. Here's a close up of the card. A mix match of trees and a few snowflakes. Then that pretty sentiment in black to set it off! My layers are aqua, vellum and white. I love these colors. (I'm really into pink this year for Christmas already)

The trees were affixed to the card with foam tape to pop off the paper!!

This was my tree lot! LOLZ. I did red trees too, but when I started to put all my items together, the red didn't look right to me… So I'll save those red trees for something else! This makes me happy.

  • The Greetery – Tags & Toasts – New Release Reveal!

Hi everybody! How's your week going so far? I hope you're having a great one! I've been busy in the studio a lot this week trying to get some pretty things made to share with you! And, today is a very exciting day! It's new release reveal day for The Greetery! This new release is called Tags & Toasts! Love it! It's a smaller release with two main product suites: Tag Team Duo and Year In Year Out. The new release will be live tomorrow, Friday November 12th at 10am EST! The Tag Team Duo line has stamps, dies, hot foil plates and stencils – everything works together to make gorgeous tags!! (I could have made 100 tags – so many ideas!) The Year In Year Out line has a fantastic 2022 die cut that you can use for New Year's cards and also for 2022 Graduations!! It also has stamps and stencils. I think you're gonna love it all! So happy to be part of the team today!

First up – my tags! I used the Tag Team Duo Dies, Stamps and Stencils to make four Christmas tags. I used the same classic color palette for all four and I think these would make a nice boxed gift for someone. I love kraft, red, and black together. Something cozy and homey about those colors together. And pops of green and gingham too….  I always seem to need a tag for a gift or a bottle of wine…. These came together easily and quickly and what a fun time too!

Here are all four of my tags together. I also used a few previously release stamps and dies – that you probably recognize! All the supplies are listed at the bottom of my post!

The greenery and such is all stamping and the stripes and dots are stencils! LOVE IT. I die cut my tags from kraft cardstock. I die cut two for each tag and glued them together to make my tags nice and sturdy. I did the stamping in red and green first. Then I went over the stamping using the stencils. I inked harder on the edges and softer over the stamped parts. I kinda like how this turned out. For the tops, I used a small stitched circle die cut in red. A few splatters of ink…. The sentiments are all heat embossed in white onto black cardstock.

One of my tried and true favorite ways to wrap a present is in kraft paper with twine and greenery. I think it's just lovely – and perfect for anyone.

Next up today is my card made using the Year In Year Out supplies! I created a bright and happy New Year Card! Black, gold and teal – oh so pretty!! The finished card is an A2 teal card base. I layered one layer of white cardstock and then the pretty festive supplies. I used the Year In Year Out 2022 Die Cut, the 2022 Stencils and the Year In Year Out stamp set. I also used the wonderful Pinwheel Party Stencils and Dies.

  • TGIF – The Greetery Inspiration Friday – Winterberry Postcard Christmas Card!

Hi there, crafty friends! Happy Friday! And Halloween weekend….and it's almost my birthday! EEP. So much going on right now!  I'm excited to be up on The Greetery Blog today!! It's The Greetery Inspiration Friday! I'm also posting the project here too so we can share.  Like a lot of you,  I fell head over heels with the new Christmas release earlier this month. It was all so very very pretty. So, today I'm sharing another idea for using the Winterberry Stamps, Stencils and Dies. Definitely one of my favorite things from the release. It is such a beautiful suite of products and it makes my retro loving heart happy. My card was inspired by old postcards and Christmas cards from the 50's and 60's so I used lots of glitter and classic Christmas colors.

My finished card is a horizontal A2 sized card made from red cardstock. I layered woodgrain cardstock and then cream cardstock. I created the background by ink blending shades of yellow Distress Inks. I also stamped over the ink blending with these stamps: Pretty Postmarks and Christmas Time in the Country. I inked the edges of the Postal layer with Distress Ink also. There's a lot going on here – but I love it all!

the greetery, the greetery stamps and dies, the greetery winterberry, the greetery christmas, christmas card, vintage christmas, distress ink blending, pretty postmarks, snowflake soiree, curio ornaments, make your own christmas cards, stamping, die cutting, scrapbooking, winterberry stencils, retro, the greetery inspiration friday, the greetery blog, wanda guess, a blog called wanda

I used the Winterberry Stamp/Stencil Combo to ink up that pretty floral spray and die cut it out with the matching die. I added lots of glitter! The sentiment is from the Snowflake Soiree Dies set – and I die cut it from silver glitter cardstock. A few pearls were added for dimension and embellishment. I made postage stamps using the smallest ornament from the Curio: Ornaments die set. I thought I needed some vintage postage stamps for this project! My goal was retro fun!

Here's a side view so you can see all the layers. I wish I would have remembered to take a photo of just the background… Sometimes I get too excited while I'm crafting and I forget to stop and take a photo!! I used a cream panel and blended yellows just in the center. Then I used accent stamps over the ink blending, and also some white snow splatters. I popped in a bit of teal with the traditional red and green.

Remember how old Christmas cards had bits and bobs of chunky glitter? I tried to achieve that messy effect here. I used liquid glue and Rock Candy Distress Glitter – my favorite glitter of all time.

That's it for today's card! This time of year is so strange…. One day pumpkins, one day Christmas cards…. I guess we'll just go with it! Ha! My heart is firmly in FALL mode still, but I keep making Christmas cards too! I will be sharing some super duper fun cards made with the new Hello Bluebird release – this weekend sometime. There's so much good stuff going on. Be well, and have an awesome weekend! XOXO

Heeeeeyyyyyyy it’s me again! Day THREE of our three day release week for The Greetery! Today is the final day of product reveals and projects. So now you can get your list ready for tomorrow. I’m dying to know what your favorite thing(s) is from the release! It’s really hard for me to choose a favorite this time around. I loved everything! I can’t wait to make more stuff too!! It’s been my pleasure to help introduce the Christmas Time Collection. I have two more projects today to show you!

NEW PRODUCTS ARE LIVE IN THE GREETERY STORE ON

    THURSDAY 10/7 AT 10am EST!!

My first card today features the Bake It Merry Product Suite! Stamps and Dies that are all about a baking theme! The stamps remind me of the S’mores stamps released last year – same fun look to them. Tiny cookies and oven mitts and rolling pin. EEK so cute! My card is an A2 woodgrain card base, layered with gingham (of course) and white. I kept a fresh color palette by using red, white and blue…with just one pop of green! The tiny cookies are my favorite!

They really do look like sugar cookies!!! I put some vellum down on my cookie sheet (parchment paper!!) and die cut a little baby spatula. LOVE.

Okay guys, this is probably the cutest thing ever…. A tiny oven!!! This collection is called Bake Someone Happy!!! A die cut oven that comes with matching stamps to decorate and embellish!! I decided to make a bright red Christmas oven!! I decorated it with white embossed accents and a little bit of holly too. The front of the oven (the door) opens, and the top opens up also. I’ll show you in my photos. You can tuck in some sweet candies!

  • The Greetery – Christmas Time Collection – Day 2!

Hi crafty friends! Welcome to Day TWO of our three day new release party for The Greetery! The new collection is called Christmas Time! Be sure to look at my post from yesterday if you haven’t already! We’re doing three days of previews and projects and then the new release will be available for shopping on Thursday at 10am EST! I have two more cards to share with you today! I am over the moon with excitement about all the good things in this product release. It’s amazing and I had the most fun crafting with the new stamps, dies, stencils and more!!

Today’s cards feature the new Curio Collection additions and the new Christmas Time product suite (genius)…. Let’s get started!!

My first card today showcases the new Curio Ornaments Dies (YAY for more Curio items), the Ornament Box Tops stamps and dies, and the new Curio Divider/Details Dies! My finished card is A2 size and the Ornament Box Top fills the entire card front! I made my card to look like a box of vintage 60’s ornaments. Can I even tell you how much fun it was to make this???

the greetery, new release, christmas time collection, the greetery stamps and dies, christmas time in the city, hourglass die, snow, curio collection, winter, christmas, holiday, christmas cards, card ideas, wanda guess, a blog called wanda

I started by stamping my ornament box in aqua ink. I stamped the accent pieces in red ink. And then die cut out everything. Note: There are two ornament box stamp/die sets: One is vertical (I used that one) and one is horizontal. The stamp is a giant red rubber stamp and the dies cut out the banner and the smaller pieces you see in red. Again, this is genius! I like this side view because you can see all the different elements. I wracked my brain on how to make it look old… Came up with the idea of stenciling a gingham background in Antique Linen Distress Ink and also I wrinkled up a piece of vellum and glued it around the opening to look like old tissue paper!!

the greetery, new release, christmas time collection, the greetery stamps and dies, christmas time in the city, hourglass die, snow, curio collection, winter, christmas, holiday, christmas cards, card ideas, wanda guess, a blog called wanda

The Curio Ornaments die set has so many wonderful Christmas elements. In addition to ornaments there is a Holly, Wreath and a little deer.

the greetery, new release, christmas time collection, the greetery stamps and dies, christmas time in the city, hourglass die, snow, curio collection, winter, christmas, holiday, christmas cards, card ideas, wanda guess, a blog called wanda

The new Divider Die is mounted inside the opening to make it look like a box of goodies. I used a 60’s color palette of pink, red, green, aqua and gold. I also used lots of glitter and some gems. The more sparkle the better!

the greetery, new release, christmas time collection, the greetery stamps and dies, christmas time in the city, hourglass die, snow, curio collection, winter, christmas, holiday, christmas cards, card ideas, wanda guess, a blog called wanda

All the tiny details are what make these ornaments so pretty!!

the greetery, new release, christmas time collection, the greetery stamps and dies, christmas time in the city, hourglass die, snow, curio collection, winter, christmas, holiday, christmas cards, card ideas, wanda guess, a blog called wanda

The background was done using the Square Dance Stencils all in one color ink. It looks old and funky!! I splattered on a bunch of white paint on the box also.

the greetery, new release, christmas time collection, the greetery stamps and dies, christmas time in the city, hourglass die, snow, curio collection, winter, christmas, holiday, christmas cards, card ideas, wanda guess, a blog called wanda

Okay, kids, hold onto your hats…. Introducing the new Christmas Time (In the City and In the Country)!!! An hourglass concept that you can fill with stamps and dies to create a little Winter Wonderland scene! OMG do you love it??? My finished card is an A2 card base out of gray cardstock. The hourglass fills up the entire front. There are several pieces you can use to mix and match and create your own specific scene. Really lovely idea!! I used the City dies and the pretty die cut snowflakes at the top of my piece.

the greetery, new release, christmas time collection, the greetery stamps and dies, christmas time in the city, hourglass die, snow, curio collection, winter, christmas, holiday, christmas cards, card ideas, wanda guess, a blog called wanda

All the dies are separate so you can mix and match your papers. I used woodgrain paper, silver paper and white paper to make my hourglass. I ink blended the background and the little lake at the bottom using aqua/blue Distress Inks.

the greetery, new release, christmas time collection, the greetery stamps and dies, christmas time in the city, hourglass die, snow, curio collection, winter, christmas, holiday, christmas cards, card ideas, wanda guess, a blog called wanda

The matching stamp set has these pretty sentiments that fit onto a gorgeous banner. Here’s a close up of the die cut snowflakes background too.

the greetery, new release, christmas time collection, the greetery stamps and dies, christmas time in the city, hourglass die, snow, curio collection, winter, christmas, holiday, christmas cards, card ideas, wanda guess, a blog called wanda

I generously applied clear glitter to everything and my usual snow splatters.

the greetery, new release, christmas time collection, the greetery stamps and dies, christmas time in the city, hourglass die, snow, curio collection, winter, christmas, holiday, christmas cards, card ideas, wanda guess, a blog called wanda

I’m definitely a Christmas-in-the-city type of girl. Are you a city girl or a country girl? I stamped some snowflakes onto my card base to keep the theme going. I wanted it simple so no layers here. Just that big beautiful hourglass.

the greetery, new release, christmas time collection, the greetery stamps and dies, christmas time in the city, hourglass die, snow, curio collection, winter, christmas, holiday, christmas cards, card ideas, wanda guess, a blog called wanda

That’s it for day TWO of our three day extravaganza!! Be sure to come back by tomorrow – you won’t be disappointed my friends! I’m loving it alllll! Hope you are too! If you have questions about anything you can email me or find me on social media. I’m happy to help! • The Greetery – Christmas Time Collection – Day 1!

Hi everyone! Happy Monday! I am BURSTING with excitement about this week's blog posts…. Because it's release week for The Greetery! Yahooooo! There will be three days of inspiration and product reveals and projects this time! The new release is called Christmas Time! OH BOY OH BOY OH BOY are you in for a treat. Betsy has outdone herself with the new designs and it was a complete joy to create cards and projects to show you. It is my honor to help introduce all the wonderful new items! So….we will have blog posts Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday and then the products will go live for shopping Thursday morning at 10am EST. Mark your calendars and set the alarms my friends!

Today the design team is introducing Winterberry Bouquet, Cathedral Dies and Stencils, Pine Wisp Dies, Abundant Joy Dies, Opposites Attract Holiday and more! It's all what I would call "classic Christmas" and it's all gorgeous. So let's get started!

First up is a card I made using the new Cathedral Dies, Pine Wisp Dies, and Opposites Attract. I also used some previously released items that I love: Snowflake Soiree and With Love at Christmas. My finished card is a 5" x 5" square card base make from kraft cardstock. My layer is cream cardstock and then the feature elements…

the greetery, christmas time collection, christmas release, new release, winter, holiday, the greetery stamps and dies, winterberry bouquet, stencils, stamps, dies, christmas cards, cathedral die, pine wisps, abundand joy die, hot foil, opposites attract, wanda guess, a blog called wanda

So, I love it when word stamps have matching dies! It's so polished and clean looking. I used the joyeux noel stamps and dies for my sentiment because the cathedral window reminded me of Notre Dame – I went with a French theme! LOL. The noel is heat embossed with gold embossing powder.

the greetery, christmas time collection, christmas release, new release, winter, holiday, the greetery stamps and dies, winterberry bouquet, stencils, stamps, dies, christmas cards, cathedral die, pine wisps, abundand joy die, hot foil, opposites attract, wanda guess, a blog called wanda

Here's a close up of the new Pine Wisp Dies. PERFECTION. I die cut several out of cardstock and used Distress inks to color them brown and green. Kind of a water color effect. I used a water brush.

the greetery, christmas time collection, christmas release, new release, winter, holiday, the greetery stamps and dies, winterberry bouquet, stencils, stamps, dies, christmas cards, cathedral die, pine wisps, abundand joy die, hot foil, opposites attract, wanda guess, a blog called wanda

I used the gorgeous Snowflake Soiree Stencils for this background. I only used two colors of ink – because I wanted it to be icy and blue. I also splattered on a good amount of snow (white paint)!

the greetery, christmas time collection, christmas release, new release, winter, holiday, the greetery stamps and dies, winterberry bouquet, stencils, stamps, dies, christmas cards, cathedral die, pine wisps, abundand joy die, hot foil, opposites attract, wanda guess, a blog called wanda

I die cut the Cathedral Window Die Cut from dark brown woodgrain cardstock (supplies are listed at the bottom of my post). I used an embossing dabber and dabbed embossing ink randomly onto the die cut. Then I sprinkled gold embossing powder and made it messy with my finger. Once I heated it, it gave this nice patina of old wood!! I really like how this came out. I backed the cathedral window with vellum and it was attached to the card with foam tape.

the greetery, christmas time collection, christmas release, new release, winter, holiday, the greetery stamps and dies, winterberry bouquet, stencils, stamps, dies, christmas cards, cathedral die, pine wisps, abundand joy die, hot foil, opposites attract, wanda guess, a blog called wanda

Here's a close up of the top of the card. Poinsettias, Pines, and a big gold bow. Christmas goodness.

the greetery, christmas time collection, christmas release, new release, winter, holiday, the greetery stamps and dies, winterberry bouquet, stencils, stamps, dies, christmas cards, cathedral die, pine wisps, abundand joy die, hot foil, opposites attract, wanda guess, a blog called wanda

My second card today features the new Winterberry Bouquet stamp/stencil combo and the new Abundant Joy Dies. Again….classic Christmas! OH MY WORD. The results of this stenciling are fantastic!! My finished card is an A2 red card base, layered with woodgrain paper and then a postage die cut.

the greetery, christmas time collection, christmas release, new release, winter, holiday, the greetery stamps and dies, winterberry bouquet, stencils, stamps, dies, christmas cards, cathedral die, pine wisps, abundand joy die, hot foil, opposites attract, wanda guess, a blog called wanda

The new Abundant Joy Dies have a decorated layer and a border layer. Here I used silver cardstock and vellum. There is also a Hot Foiling plate the same design. Love.

the greetery, christmas time collection, christmas release, new release, winter, holiday, the greetery stamps and dies, winterberry bouquet, stencils, stamps, dies, christmas cards, cathedral die, pine wisps, abundand joy die, hot foil, opposites attract, wanda guess, a blog called wanda

I stenciled and stamped the big bouquet image and die cut it out with the matching die. It fills up the entire front of the A2 card. I love that. I ink blended a bluish background for the die cut image to 'rest' on. I think it makes it pop off the page more.

the greetery, christmas time collection, christmas release, new release, winter, holiday, the greetery stamps and dies, winterberry bouquet, stencils, stamps, dies, christmas cards, cathedral die, pine wisps, abundand joy die, hot foil, opposites attract, wanda guess, a blog called wanda

This is soooooo pretty in person!!!!

the greetery, christmas time collection, christmas release, new release, winter, holiday, the greetery stamps and dies, winterberry bouquet, stencils, stamps, dies, christmas cards, cathedral die, pine wisps, abundand joy die, hot foil, opposites attract, wanda guess, a blog called wanda

I attached the die cut to the card with foam tape. A nice flat card to mass produce for Christmas cards I think!

the greetery, christmas time collection, christmas release, new release, winter, holiday, the greetery stamps and dies, winterberry bouquet, stencils, stamps, dies, christmas cards, cathedral die, pine wisps, abundand joy die, hot foil, opposites attract, wanda guess, a blog called wanda

  • The Greetery – Leaf and Blade Collection for Autumn 2021!

Hi everyone!!! Are you ready for a new release from The Greetery?! I know I am!! No doubt about that! I am sharing three cards today, made with supplies from the fabulous Leaf & Blade Collection! All the pretty things for Fall and Autumn occasions! Stamps, Dies, Stencils…and hot foiling too! It's all very pretty and very classy – just as you would expect from The Greetery. I used shades of Fall and warm color palettes for all my projects today – and that makes me very happy! Yippee!

Everything will be available for shopping in The Greetery Store on September 10th at 10am EST!! YAY!!

The first card is FALL on paper! The finished card is a kraft card base that is 5" x 5" square. I used the brand new Rustic Wreath stamps and dies along with the Fall Foliage Hot Foil plate and dies….and the new Autumn Word die!! Oh, and for good measure, I also used the gorgeous Tartan Builder Stencils in gold and orange….

the greetery, stamps and dies, the greetery stamps, the greetery leaf and blade, the greetery fall, new release, stamps, dies, stencils, plaid, tartan builder, rustic wreath, curio collection, leaves, gingham, fall card ideas, card layouts, greetery design team, wanda guess, a blog called wanda

The Rustic Wreath Dies are BEAUTIFUL!! I die cut them from woodgrain cardstock and splashed everything with gold paint! The Autumn Word is die cut from dark woodgrain cardstock and vellum…. So elegant. My layers are: Kraft, Brown, Cream, Plaid, Cream…. LOTS of layers on this card. I love it!

Here's a good close up of the dies…. See how it's designed?? The bottom die serves as a template for the twig dies to lay on – so you get a perfect wreath. Genius I tell ya!

Here's my pretty fall plaid! I used the Tartan Builder Diagonal Stencils and only three colors: Yellow, orange and brown. SO warm, like a big sweater!!

Once my wreath was assembled, I added a brown bow with a shimmery golden enamel dot in the center. I wanted a leaf sprig in there too… I used the new Fall Foliage Hot Foil plate to make the leaves sparkle. I wanted to see how the hot foiling would look on textured cardstock – and it came out better than I had hoped!! I used matte gold foil onto the AC cardstock. This is super pretty in person!

the greetery, stamps and dies, the greetery stamps, the greetery leaf and blade, the greetery fall, new release, stamps, dies, stencils, plaid, tartan builder, rustic wreath, curio collection, leaves, gingham, fall card ideas, card layouts, greetery design team, wanda guess, a blog called wanda

Next up is a pretty Autumn Curio! I was really hoping that Betsy would do a Curio Dies set for Autumn…and she did! Yeah! This finished card is a kraft card base and then layered with some patterned paper from my stash. All of the elements were die cut and then edged with Distress Inks and accented with white gel pen…. SO MUCH FUN to make this card. Truly joyful crafting!

For my last card, I used the new Fall Foliage Stamps and Dies to make a bright and fresh Fall card! The finished card is an A2 white card base. I layered in a bit of orange gingham and then a white layer, and white circle to use as a frame for the leaves.

  • The Greetery – Pretty Flower Pots!

Hi guys! It's me again! And I'm back with more yellow, and more flowers! I was on The Greetery Blog yesterday with a TGIF project and I wanted to share it here with you, too! Happy Crafturday/Saturday my friends!

My card features some of the newer stamps and dies release from The Greetery this summer…. The Pretty Pot Dies and the Container Garden Stamps and Dies. The finished card is a white A2 card base, layered with yellow, vellum, and more white. This card is bright and sunny! The idea came to me when the Pretty Pot die came out…. I wondered – hey, does the Container Garden floral spray fit into the pot?? Well…guess what? It does! Nice!

the greetery, the greetery stamps and dies, the greetery container garden, the greetery pretty pot, the greetery windowpane plaid, pretext sentiments, floral card, handmade cards, stamping, card layout ideas, the greetery design team, wanda guess, a blog called wanda

Here's a top down photo to show all the layers…. You can see I used foam tape to mount my flowers/pots to the card and also to mount that top layer of white paper.

To make the pots, I die cut them from Kraft cardstock. I used shades of Distress Inks and splatters to make the pots look like aged terra cotta/clay pots that have been out in the garden for a while… The sentiment was heat embossed onto a banner with white embossing powder.

I used my MISTI to ink/stamp the Windowpane Plaid background stamp onto a white panel. I also used my MISTI to stamp the flowers. Everything lines up so perfectly – thanks to Betsy. I used Copic Markers to add a bit more shading, and then a white gel pen too.

I die cut the floral spray using the matching Container Garden Die. I tucked it inside the pot – I love how this looks!! I wish I had this pot of flowers in my garden!

  • The Greetery – Nouveau Notes Collection – New Release!

Hi there everyone! Welcome – thanks for stopping by today! I have something VERY exciting to share with you! A brand new, gorgeous, release from The Greetery! It's a 'mini' release but I don't think there's anything mini about it! It's beautiful! Angelica concepted this one and she and Betsy brought it all to life. Stamps, dies, stencils, FOILING plates, and more!!! All with a stationery theme! Everything you could want to use to make your own boxed stationery sets. A stationery box die cut that's super easy to put together, florals, note card dies…..on and on. I love this idea so much. There is only one reveal day (today) for this release. Then, everything will be available for purchase FRIDAY 8/13 in The Greetery Store at 10am EST.

I have two stationery box projects to share today and LOADS of photos. I was really inspired and had a lot of fun with making these to share with you. One box is in muted, classy tones and the other one is is bright, happy tones. Let's look!

First up is this stationery box made with the box die, the new Floral Delicacy bouquet stamps and dies, as well as some other Greetery products from past releases. I used grey and pink as my color palette. The box holds A2 sized cards. If your cards are relatively flat, you could fit up to five in there. You know I like my cards chunky, so there are three inside my box.

Here is the box in my hand for scale. It's perfect for gift giving!! To make the box, I started with gray cardstock. I used clear Versamark Ink and the Fond of Foliage background stamp to stamp onto the gray paper. Love the tonal look of this. I also splashed on some white paint. I wrapped vellum down the center of the front and added the word 'notes' using the Slim Alphabet dies.

For my second stationery box set, I went in a different direction. My inspiration was one of my favorite artists: Mary Engelbreit! Do you see the reference? Gingham and red, blue and green…and so much cheer! One of the cool things about the Stationery Box die is that you can trim it down to fit the smaller notes! The cards inside are made with the Crimped Note Cards Die and it makes a 4" x 4" card.

See how different that pretty floral looks with different colors?? I love it both ways! I popped on some big bold black and white checked paper on the flap. The box is made from red cardstock. Then I used a white gel pen to add dots as accents.

Also inspired by Mary Engelbreit – the Bloom sentiment! I used the Always in Bloom Stamps and Dies (one of my favs from The Greetery) and decorated the outside of my box. BLOOM!!!

I used the Pretty Postmarks stamps and some floral stamps to make my own postage stamps as decorations!! At first I was going to put them on the back of the box, but it ended up looking too busy. The pens in the photos are for sale from The Greetery also! They are sooooo pretty.
