HEEEEYYYYY everyone! Welcome! Hope you're having a great week so far! Today is a fun day – a big, amazing, blog hop! The Hop today is to celebrate the brand new Winter 2023 Hero Arts Catalog launch! All the new holiday products are available today in the Hero Arts Store! Yippeee! I have two fun and cheerful Christmas cards to share today! If you're new here to my blog because of the hop – welcome! Nice to meet you! XO
My first card today features the adorable, brand new Peeking Snowman Die Set! I also used the brand new Snowflake Stencil and brand new Holiday Season Messages Stamps/Dies! My finished card is an A2 white card base. I layered white (stenciled with snowflakes), then red, then a cute postage die. I wanted it to look like a Christmas stamp!! It was fun to die cut this little sweet guy!!
I stenciled the background with Distress Ink and a blender brush – those pretty blue snowflakes! I die cut all the snowman pieces from colored cardstock and gingham paper…and added a little bit of shading. The fun part was adding some snow to his hat!
Here is the side view, showing my layers…The sentiment set comes with matching dies, which just looks so nice and neat!
Instead of paper I used black enamel dots – I think it looks like shiny coal…and makes them stand out more! I used the stencil to add one more snowflake behind the snowman hat.

Next up is a sweetheart candy cane card! I used the brand new Candy Cane Dies and the new Holiday Season Messages stamps and dies… I used a pretty vellum heart to feature the candy canes. My finished card is an A2 white card base, layered with kraft, teal and then vellum. The star is those fun and cheery candy canes!
I made the candy canes with white and red cardstock and then sprinkled on some white paint for snow…. The bow is die cut from sparkly cardstock and finished with a big red enamel dot. I kept this card very clean and simple, and it would be a good one to mass produce for Christmas cards….

I had originally made some red, and some pink candy canes. I used the red ones for my card and decided to use the small pink one to make a sweet little gift tag! I definitely need to make some more of these!!
Thanks for stopping by today as part of the Holiday 2023 Catalog blog hop!! Nice to have you here! Wishing you a very happy and creative day, my friends! XOXO
