Welcome to my stop on the awesome blog hop to celebrate the brand new, beautiful release from our friends at Pinkfresh Studio! Gosh, I do love Pinkfresh Studio and their pretty style…. NEW NEW NEW Stamps, dies, stencils, hot foil plates, accessories…and more!! There is supply information, prize information and the list for the hop participants at the bottom of my post. Let's take a look at my card for today!
My birthday card to share today features the brand new Sweet Day stamps, stencils and dies! A lovely birthday suite of products – that also has a matching hot foil plate! We always need more birthday stamps and dies, right? These are fresh and happy for sure! I used a pastel color palette of pink, aqua and yellow to make some cute cupcakes and that awesome banner. My finished card is an A2 card base in white. I layered pink and vellum then a top layer of white for my focal layer….
Here is a close up of my paper layers and those sweet cakes! I used the beautiful Intricate Ovals Coverplate die to emboss the design onto light pink cardstock for that layer. Then a layer of vellum, and a stitched white layer. These layers make a frame for my birthday scene.
I stamped the cupcakes in black ink and used the matching stencils to stencil on the color using my Pinkfresh Ink Cubes…. I die cut out all the pieces, and a banner too! The banner was also colored using the matching stencils. One very cool thing about this stamp set is that you can stamp the entire stamp set and die cut it all out in one pass!! Genius!!! The set also has a beautiful cake!!
I do love a pretty banner!! I used the same colors for the cupcakes and the banner for a cohesive look. I added shiny glitter drops in matching colors on the tops of the cupcakes and the banner.
